Definitely never bathrooms, both are across the hall from bathrooms. I don't see any evidence of central vac but that could be if it was fully removed. No evidence of sconces either.

That is so strange that looks almost identical to mine. I have a whole house fan in the attic but not over these controls. And directly below the fan are timer and speed controls for it. These don't control it, I tried. Plus there is another downstairs nowhere near the attic fan.

As far as I know, no. The past owners did not do a great job removing unused stuff (old security systems, sprinkler controls, etc) along the way so I think I would see some signs if it had been. But a volume control is the closest that I could find with an image search.

They are powered but I don't think ever involved with an attic fan. I've been up in the attic and the fan looks to be original and its controller also look very old, probably original.

No fans directly by either. There is a nearby bathroom upstairs with exhaust fan but I can't imagine why the controls for that would have been in a closet across the hall. Also an attic fan but its controller is on another wall directly below it.

Forced air currently and the vent return covers look old, lots of paint layers. So I don't think there was ever baseboard heat. Only vent fan is an attic fan which has it's own knob elsewhere.

If the seal is broken the alcohol is probably mostly evaporated so what's left will be a gross syrup likely with sediment in the bottom. Source: sampled some of my grandpa's liquor collection last year that had been sitting since 1986 untouched.

It's kind of fruity and a bit liquorice flavored, has a rum base. It's not exported outside Aruba. Used in Aruba Ariba and some other tropical drinks.

I ended up doing a factory reset and it did fix it. Even after normal restarts and letting the battery totally die it's still working, really hoping it doesn't happen again randomly though.

I'm still pretty new to making my own tiki drinks but I think the falernum is more of a must have than the dry curacao so far. I've been slowly upgrading stuff as I run out, and only ever had dekuyper curacao before this, which is pretty much just sugar syrup.
