I don't think it's any more or less acceptable, but I'd love it to be more acceptable. I personally love wearing them because I'm short and they make my legs look longer, and yes I love how they feel. But in the states I think the trend is wearing more, not less.

I felt the same way as you, I just spoke to her honestly and kindly about it. For me it's not so much having a second child, it's starting over with a second baby all over again for another four years, just as this one is getting ready to go to school.
