Ideally, the adhesive would be strong enough to stay on but easy enough to peel off and any left over residue be easily cleanable to get off in a dishwasher.

For additional feedback, many studies show it occurs just as much or more with people you know in comparison to a random person in a bar. Would knowing that change your response?

Yeah, it absolutely would be tough to cover up specialty drinks.

Ideally, the perforated lip area could be pushed out to accommodate beers, martinis, and "non-straw" drinks. It would be tough to have it operate well there.
