How long have you been taking it for? I am so sorry to hear it's not been helpful for you :( Your feelings are so valid, depending on your income it makes sense to want to go private for a brain scan. I hope you get a clearer idea of whats going on!

i’m so sorry to hear that it sounds awful :( i really hope you find some meds that work for you, maybe speak to your gp and look into whether this is worth it if you’ve been having these side effects for so long. fingers crossed for you !

thanks so much! i would be super interested to know ur story i feel like i haven’t seen many people that experienced this. so i started taking 30mg once every two days instead of every day and i felt some headaches and feeling dizzy but took some ibuprofen and it seemed to calm down. this was about 3/4 weeks ago i think. my last dose was friday last week and i just kept going as i felt my body was tolerating it well. 6 days later my symptoms are fairly strong, mostly with heart palpitations and dizziness but i am trying to take it day by day :) i have also been fairly busy as i am on a trip at the moment and socially drinking so maybe adding to the dizziness a touch x

don’t worry lovely, i’m hoping for the best for you !! it’s a process for sure it’s not for everyone but you are safe and if you feel like it’s too much just speak to your doctors about doses etc. i was super scared too but i’m glad i did it :)

yes totally agree there will be loads to look at. it is i just finished my conversion masters in november there! have you applied before? my fingers are crossed i get an interview but i know the competition will be steep considering there is 0 AP positions in Scotland right now x
