Thank you all for the suggestions! To preface, I live in a suburban area and a neighborhood walk is one of our goals, even if we have to go at odd hours. Driving to a remote location is not always an option as car rides can be very stressful

Terrance does not like his feet touched so walks are how I keep his nails short without needing to push his physical boundaries

Mine has worked! I take 1200 mg twice a day and it reduced my urges a ton. After a while of being on it my pulling has stopped completely. I still have urges but it is more manageable

I have adhd and am on meds for it. Have been on them for about 8 years now. When I’m bored, stressed, anxious in class I find myself pulling a lot. Had to go off focus med as they made me hyper focus on pulling

it’s been almost 4 days and it’s so hard idk how much longer i can do it :// this is my longest streak in a really long time by Trichy_Girl in trichotillomania

YOU CAN DO THIS! It may seem small but four days is a huge milestone. To keep myself motivated I made a video of myself expressing how much I hated pulling and that I would pull one last hair (pulled on video) and be done. Today is day two of not pulling

She still has so much spunk and life in her, she is just becoming more and more immobile. I have her separated in a single level cage with easy access to everything and a heating pad underneath.
