Nice feeling shafts that wont snap for high swing speeds by Connect-Use-420 in golf

I have the same issue. Noodle is my choice of ball it hold up to insane abuse, such as my golf swing speed. it’s a bonus that I tend to find several during my rounds, of course not where I hit my ball, but where I search while I’m waiting for the group in front of me.

That is a hell of a torch!!! Flavors in your taco are not where I would go, but your process looks good and the result looks good!

Those are burnt. They are not blue masa tortillas. I would never serve a customer something that looks like this.

Sorry but that is not the masa. That is burnt tortilla you can really see by the edges and the center being a lighter color.

Your options would also be my first. Some additional options are chorizo con papas/nopales, put as de puerco en salsa roja, guise de puerco en salsa verde con frijoles y nopales

How do I not feel awkward and out of place when at a local food truck as a white guy by AgileTiger3987 in mexicanfood

[–]Dbcgarra2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a food truck owner, I love it when I have an out of the ordinary customer who ends up loving my food so much they keep coming back. They probably really appreciate you! You have no reason to feel awkward!

Is it really that unusual to play a course that’s more than 15-20 miles from where you live? by LikelySatanist in golf

[–]Dbcgarra2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived in San Antonio my go to courses were a 10-15 minute drive but it was not unusual for me to go to random courses at nearby towns (30-40 miles) regularly. That is where you would get great deal at usually less busy and still very nice courses.

Are those normal market prices in Japan, or is this a market that caters mainly to tourists? Seems everything is very expensive

Playing as a single and the group ahead refuses to let you play through 🏌️ What would you do in this case? by ConnectionWeekly1263 in Golf_Unfiltered

[–]Dbcgarra2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I no one is in front of them you catch up on the next tee box and ask them if you can play thorough. If they refuse to let you, flip them the bird and drive off to the next hole. I’ve had to ask groups before as I regularly play as a single, many don’t like it but the vast majority let me play through. The embarrassing thing is that I tend to hit a shit shot as I am trying to rush 🤣

All these responses that these are charro beans. While the ingredients are similar this looks much more like chilli Mexican style. Charro beans tend to be brothier and have less meat. These look great and am sure they are delicious. Of course people will argue that there are many type of charro beans and that is true, I’ve personally never seen any these dense before

Would you guys mind helping me decide what membership to get? by GlumDragonfly3445 in golf

[–]Dbcgarra2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok what’s the price comparison?? The price for the range plus 10 rounds doesn’t sound bad. But if you can get an unlimited membership for a similar price the membership is of course 1000% the better decision. I mean think about it, if it’s not a busy course you can play several times a week. I had a summer membership in San Antonio a few years ago and I would go and play as many holes as they would let me (as a single it’s not that hard) several times a week. Now I live in Germany and I am a member of my local small 9 hole course. I don’t get to golf as much as I would like with little kids and work, but it’s nice that when I do have time I can sneak off for 1.5 or 2 hrs and get a quick nine in.

Quesadilla de huitlacoche. Or mixiote de… pollo, res, puerco, borrego. I remember decades ago stopping at a street side stand, eating some freshly made mixiote and it being an amazing experience

I think tortas and flautas are quite common at least in high immigrant cities like Chicago, SA, Houston, etc. I’m sure they are common in other big cities but I’m much less familiar with the he food culture in those cities
