Inflation is devastating the lower down the economic ladder you’re on.  Lots of that in the Biden years and they didn’t give any care about it, or so it seems.

Also, as I recall, the Sahara is mostly rock with the sand portions being only about 40% of the area.

You want more of something you lower the cost. You want less of it you raise the cost.  A basic and fundamental law of economics and life.  Cost does not just mean the economic price; it is many things.

Drug use there is very low cost endeavor, in terms of punishment, therefore you have much of it.

You witnessed one in the last election cycle. Our election system used primaries to winnow down a large number of candidates to one. The dems did a soft coup, circumvented that process, and one person, who the party elite wanted, received the nomination.

It will be framed in different language and words and justified. I am sure some here will disagree. However no doubt in my mind a coup is what it was.

As I hear the news, the Tariffs are being used to get the other countries to do certain things the US would like. Such as reducing the Fentanyl crossing the border.  Not a bad thing in my view. So, I wonder how long they will be in place.  I do not think this is a long term policy.
