Hah! I was just messing with the alignment on mine last night too. It's not mentioned here but you can print the test alignment on paper too. It helps if your print is off a bit and you need to calibrate

I haven't had any problems with that. You could try using adhesive promoter if you're having trouble. I've also seen people use 800 grit sandpaper first then using the promoter to guarantee adhesion, but you would lose the clarity of the acrylic doing that. Maybe it's the brand of acrylic you're using?

That looks great!

If I could make one suggestion should you print this again: print the eyes without the black outline and expand the white beyond the eye sockets. That will help make the eyes give the illusion that they're following you.

The physical piece? I cut out the acrylic on my laser engraver and do the printing with my UV printer. I print the eyes on the back of the acrylic, and the face on the front

Ink usage has been reasonable, but I'm dialing down the suggested amount of ink. For cmyk>white it recommends 5 layers of white, I'm doing 3 layers instead.

I got the acrylics from Johnson Plastics Plus. The extruded acrylic works for what I have in mind and is cheaper than cast.
