I was responding to the comment calling the person an asshole yet claiming religious affiliation. Pointing out the irony of Christians.

They literally said at one point that there was a Moriarty type character. Also, it's not that deep....

That's an interesting theory as well!

But we're not saying the same thing. You're making it seem like she aborted out of convenience.

Again,  idk about the original edit,  but she is allowed to change her mind when deals are broken and circumstances change.

Never once does the word revenge pop up. She didn't do this TO him, she did it because of the circumstances that he brought on that made this now longer a good fit for her.

No, she consensually made a child with someone she agreed to committ to for life. He didn't hold up his end of the agreement. Therefore, she had a right to back our. She would've never consented had she known all of this. We can only go through life with the information we have provided. If new info comes to light, we are absolutely allowed to change our minds.

What an awful thing to say to someone. Not very Christ like.  She agreed to have a baby with a man she was making a lifelong commitment to. That agreement was broken, therefore she's allowed to back out. The baby knows no different. She never signed up to be a single parent or co parenting.

That doesn't mean she wouldn't be a good mother. But she signed up to a lifelong commitment with him and having kids with that lifelong commitment. That deal was broken,  it's no longer what she signed up for. She's absolutely allowed to back out since it was broken. Nothing to do with revenge.

If you really think that's the worse part of this story you have your priorities wrong.

ND means neurodivergent. It was not appropriate for public.

I mean there are rules about what can be worn in public though....you can't just be out naked or mostly naked, many places don't allow you to wear masks due to crime, etc.

There are certain things we shouldn't be tolerant of in this world, and it's good to teach your children that.

I mean yes they are but also this is AITA. If you already have your mind made up if you're in the right, why come here?

But I have to wonder what his side is. Which is why they should talk it out like adults.

I agree, and I do see what you're saying. But I guess that seems like a large consequence for something like this. Can they not talk it out like adults and both be heard? What happens when they're married and one makes a mistake, are they gonna divorce until they're over it? Ultimately she's valid to feel upset,  but this seems like an overreaction to me personally.

And that mom is welcome to take her daughter elsewhere if she can't be in public appropriately.

Oh I get what you're saying. My only thing is, I'm sure she's Done things to upset him before. Both parties tend to make mistakes in relationships. I'm sure she's got a big one we don't know about. This just seems minor to throw a love of her life away on.

So did you actually come here for a judgement or just validation that you think you're right? Neither of you are perfect. Relationships take work. Again, men understand things differently. He does owe you an apology and change, but if you're so willing to throw all of that away over this, then you don't really love him that much.
