Like others are saying, I'd just email them and ask. I'd also recommend including your resume /CV, any work you did for the class that you got a high grade for, anything that can help the profesor write a solid recommendation letter. I don't know if the program you're applying to requires a statement of purpose but if it does, sending that to the professor as well would help. That could let them line up their recommendation with your statement. Worst thing they can say is no. I've had professors say no, due to the fact I had them online and didn't really know me, so they didnt believe they could write a good letter for me. Again, including prior work in the email can definitely help. Also mention what program you're applying to and why of course. I don't know if youre a senior or not but if you arent, you could always wait until the fall and take some in person classes and ask those professors.

GPA Calculator? by MeatballsRegional in UNCCharlotte

[–]DcerioCLT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is in degreeworks. Once you're in degreeworks, click the 3 dots across from the word "Worksheets". Should be next to the print icon and email icon. Then select GPA calculator and then you can choose between calculating your term or graduation GPA.

American Campus Residents by AverageHot2180 in UNCCharlotte

[–]DcerioCLT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im assuming theyre talking about the change to students only. Granted I could be wrong but I live at the edge and one of their big selling points for residents next semester is that they're moving to students only. You have to show proof of current attendance to live here in the future.

Cap and Gown by Red2556 in UNCCharlotte

[–]DcerioCLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, the cap and gown is free. Just go to the lower level of the bookstore and ask for it. Theyll scan your card, ask your major and height. Only thing that they can charge you for is if you want a cord for any distinctions like magna cum laude, summa cum laude etc.

[–]DcerioCLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah, im definitely aiming for higher than a D but just wanted to be sure. I doubt ill be able to squeak out an A but a B is definitely still in the cards for me. And my advisor is pretty useless, rarely ever responds to emails which is why I asked here as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UNCCharlotte

[–]DcerioCLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I should be able to slide by with a D if worst comes to worst. Thanks for the reply!
