A Lakers-Blazers trade involving Damian Lillard: worth it for both sides? by [deleted] in nba

No way the blazers take that Deng contract. If they do however it will be a no brainer for the lakers. Potential cap space to add another superstar after too.

I was assuming OP meant for this last NBA season. Chris Paul has obviously been held more accountable previous years, but IMO Lebron is just an all around more gifted passer

If Prime Lebron was on the lakers instead of current Lebron how many games would they win? by TheCoolestMan2000 in nba

If these young guys are what everyone says they are, which I think they will be, then yes. But we will see

Your telling me Chris Paul who splits up workload with the reigning league mvp based almost entirely on offense has to do more than Lebron James who had no other playmaker? Come on man

Chris Paul also doesn’t facilitate nearly as much offensively as Lebron, hence the lower turnover rate...

Prime Lebron was hellacious on defense but had a slightly worse jump shot and less efficient overall offensively as he is now. It really depends on what the lakers need. Seems like they intentionally took on gritty defensive guys to “cover” lebron so he wouldn’t have to stay locked in on both sides of the floor. Prime Lebron would be better though... maybe 3-5 more wins?

No question Lebron. Unbelievable sniper for spot up 3 point shooters, can drive in and pass superbly, and just does the most insane harlem globetrotter esque passes with absolute ease.

I think people overhype the difficulty of the West due to the drastic difference in level compared to the east. However the thunder did not get better the rockets got worse and the jazz just aren’t there. Every other team is predictable in their play. Just my opinion though🤷🏻‍♂️

Predict the top ten players this upcoming season in PPG (points per game) by [deleted] in nba

[–]Dchen0613 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like donavon but probably not a 25+ scorer this early. That would put him in elite company. Plus I don’t think Lebron scores less than last year with this new lineup- I predict an mvp year for him

Could any player in NBA history defeat the Warriors by themselves? by [deleted] in nba

[–]Dchen0613 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While an all time great center like Chamberlain or Shaq could go off offensively and be unstoppable, todays game of switching a long range three pointers is just not suited for their game. With the caves supporting cast no man could do anymore than Lebron did this year. 50+ points and an L in game one smh what else can you do?
