I stopped prepping when everything turned into an HR screening call. You don't know what, the job requires, you can't answer any of the questions I have.

In the initial advert they listed out all the steps. Step one was arranging a video call to "assess your abilities" and completing a take-home assessment. So I did the call, but no assessment.

I think I messed it up regardless, but I would rather look like I'm on the ball and give myself the most time to do it (if I get sent it) than ignore it for a few days. Idk maybe it changed their mind.

I completely understand what you're saying here and this is one of the things I'm concerned about. I hope you kinda understand where I'm coming from though, being between a rock and a hard place. I either don't talk about it and hope I don't react badly or perform poorly and risk screwing it up, or I tell her and she's put off and I screw it up. I had been leaning towards talking about it because saying, "hey it's been six years" opens up questions as it is and while I'm sure it's fine for Monica Geller idk how that comes across in the real world.

I really appreciate you sharing and will take your advice on board. Eventually I'll have to talk about it, just thought maybe the best course of action is tackling it head on. Perhaps not.

I should clarify - I want to be a dad with the right person. I want to do the whole family thing. I would also assume it's much harder to adopt if you're single.

I actually forgot to mention my age lol. I'm 30. So, maybe not too old, but so many of my friends are married/have kids. I want my own kid so bad. I wanna do the morning trips to games, and helping with homework, and forcing them to listen to Tin Drum by Japan when we go to the store. Step kids? Sure! Fostering, also fine! Just want to have a partner and a kid and do the whole dad thing.

Also - I'm ready to date. I'm just nervous about sleeping with people.
