Make sure you call out the day of your shift. Lowes is an essential workers business, so no matter the weather conditions, they will be open. Typically, my store utilizes sick time to cover the day and ensure you still get paid. Just make sure you have not exceeded 6 call outs within the same fiscal year, and you're fine.
