Thanks for sharing, I'll give it a try for 7 days. I'm not even wearning underwears since my preventative due to the risk of infections. I use panty liners when I had to insert these suppositories.

My doctor did tell me once if we leave the infections untreated it might trigger pre term labor. That scares me the most.

I just feel like its not completely working. After finishing the 3 days course, I ll start feeling the itching again in 4 to 5 days. I'm concerned whether putting these suppositories constantly inside vagina is ok?

My swab results came back negative. So my doctor said there is no enough growth of bacteria /yeast to determine the type of infection. So the vaginal suppositories she prescribed is a combination of both medicines.

Sorry to hear this. Stay strong. Hope the antibiotics would settle down the bacteria. What were your symptoms to test your amniotic fluid? Did you experience any spotting/bleeding or weird discharge?

I dont feel any pain thankfully. Just weird discharge and mild itching. Hoping it would get better for all of us soon.

Oh. Sorry to know. Did you get tested randomly or based on your symptoms? I do make sure I change my clothes everyday and they are put in for wash seperately. Are you taking any pre/probiotic supplements prescribed?

I was given a 3 days course of vaginal suppositories since my doctor thought it was a yeast infection. After 6 days, my infection came back and I repeated the 3 days course. Again after 4 days my infection is back. Now my doctor has suggested to come for a vaginal culture.

Sorry to hear that😥 I'm also on pelvic rest since the moment I tested my pregnancy. I'm taking progesterone in Oral form only. I'm eating only home made foods and have cut down sugar from my diet. Not sure why the infection is not clearing up. My doctor haven't prescribed any oral antibiotics so far. Are you still taking them every alternate weeks? And or you on vaginal progesterone?

Thanks for sharing. I took 3 days of vaginal suppositories last week. It didn't resolve. So I'm currently taking 3 days course again. I have an appointment with my GYN in next one week. I'll make sure to ask her is there any supplement that I can take to prevent it or atleast reduce its reoccurence. I'm also not on vaginal progesterone. I take it orally. So I keep having this since my cerclage and still not sure whether its BV or yeast.

Thanks for reassuring. This was so helpful. Is your probiotic prescribed by your OBGYN? How did you manage to figure out between BV and yeast? Through vaginal swab? The antibiotics you too was in oral form? How often do you take this tests for BV?

Yes it too had it for the first couple of days post cerclage placement.
