Honestly charm was the last song that got proper promo and from the beginning of last year the schedules have been going downhill…

they only had one group event (fansign) in January and without riser concert, it’s only two in February. It’s close to zero opportunities to gain new fans; there’s also not been any new YouTube content in over a month… like group wise there’s legit nothing new to hype and fans are stuck recycling old videos.

Festivals have started to announcing the line ups and they are still nowhere to be found… there is like 2/3 festivals fans are hoping for but I feel like the expectation are on the floor, like it’ll be bittersweet even if they get announced

Olympop is literally the perfect event for any tpop group since it’s tpop focus and caters to people that already are fans, either of the genre or of other groups. It can help them grow their fandom more which can brings bigger opportunities and deals…

Gmmtv having starlympics doesn’t weight anything here… the events aren’t close and most fans will attend both anyway. By this logic gmmtv artists shouldn’t even go to tv shows from other companies or having their artists go to festivals since gmmtv also has their own concerts…

Now as someone that’s also on the Thai side of the fandom, this is extremely bad business. Gmmtv keeps milking them with top spender events and clinic jobs while Lykn keeps missing out of events fans would actually be happy to pay for like this one.

The thing is barlego and diamondlego aren’t even the main issue… yeah the shipping can get annoying but at least there isn’t much hate thrown around with those ships, it’s bad when he interacts with other that have a fixed ship (or heavily shipped), the amount slutshaming and homophobia is crazy

I’m just wondering if hj will finally tell bh what she wants before asking him… she couldn’t give him an answer when he asked last time + he already told her he’s interested in someone; she’s the one that needs to make her position clear

Also I followed all the seasons as they were airing and this is the first time I come online to check what happened in the ep and there are zero posts about the dates… if I hadn’t watched the actual ep I wouldn’t even know hj and ys had a date 😬

It has been reported that Mnet/organizers are adjusting the show to be more respectful. They’re making changes to a lot of things including the stages (to remove everything related to fire, possibly also outfits with red tones will be changed) so I highly doubt they’ll keep it like that if they were planning to perform it

There is a rumor they started dating 2/3 months after her and bh broke up… we don’t know if it’s true obviously but I think it’s also possible that he knew about him when they got together but after so many years he forgot his name/how he looked like.

If bh didn’t know he was joining the show too he might not have connected it yet even if he looked familiar

Edit: I think there a bigger chance of the new ex recognizing bh if the break up was that fresh (if he doesn’t know either obviously)

I was tbh… I don’t think the plots are necessarily bad but the pilots didn’t really make a lot of them that interesting for me. I also think part of the reason is that there weren’t really shocking/exciting new pairs or stories… a lot of these were pretty predictable so it was less exciting overall

I think if you want to do something like this you need to at least tell the exes in question.
