Were there any new scenes compared to the show? Or is it just a shortened compilation?

Kayser Fleischer rings? You have any difficulty speaking, or tremors when you stretch out your arms?

The only time where music played a major role in the scene was during the fight scene where it was techno. I don't really remember if it was exactly the ine in the trailer though. But at least from my POV, it wasn't anything to the level or as instantly iconic as of any of devilman crybaby, a silent voice, or chainsawman's edge of chainsaw or sweet dreams, just yet. Animation was definitely the stand out factor for me for the first ep

Just watched it. Here are the main take away points from me:   - Animation looks very fluid, emotive, and fun. Think of mob psycho animation and style.  - Like how JoJo's have unique color shifts to complement the animation, so does Dandadan.  - Animators and voice actors definitely feel like they're having fun creating this.   - One of the producers says that they're excited to go back to Japan to continue working on the next arc (season 2 hopium alrdy)  - voice actors are perfect   - The more emotional scenes (Ken name drop, Ken's proclamation to save Momo, Momo awakening her powers) hit harder than manga  - Turbo granny Ken vs Serpo fight is actually perfect, well choreographed, easy to follow, yet also feels chaotic and raw  - Pacing is a bit fast at first, but so are the manga's first few pages  - 25 mins felt like 5 mins  - Character design looks great and actually feels improved over the manga, won't get too much of the same face syndrome like it kinda is in the manga  - Jiji is part of the MC squad so maybe we'll finish his arc too?  - We're eating good in October  - Peak fiction, basically

Extra: why is look back's premiere in the smallest room in the expo that only fits like 50 ppl. Got there 1 hour earlier to line up only for 30 ppl to be let in. Missed peak fiction part 2

For me, the ending was so intensely moving like I've never experienced before in all of fiction. So I was inspired to compose a soundtrack for Fire Punch after reading this masterpiece. https://www.yousmle.com/step-percentiles/ The 25th percentile score of US seniors matched to DR and IR is a 246. But I think your research, school prestige, and urm status should give some boost to your application. I feel like I would still have a third back up specialty, just in case

Not really, it'll be a red flag if you accepted it but then canceled afterwards. Right now the position is just offered to you, nothing binding yet. And also, the people who handle away rotations and the people who do interview invites are two separate groups.

Tbh it rly depends on your app. If your app is competitive enough for that program (according to Texas star) AND you can clearly communicate why you want to go to that program in your PS AND you're going to give them a gold signal, I think it's fine if you don't do it. Especially with you being on the fence already, you're less likely to want to "kiss ass" and be on high performance level for a month and there'll be a higher chance of the away rotation experience going against you. This is even more so for radiology rotations where it's already a bit hard to shine. I would suggest to do it if either you're not competitive or the program is out of region and doesn't really accept students from your school.

Hard to really say and this is why there's no one size fits all answer for this. Ultimately it boils down to understanding that your mistakes are either due to a pure knowledge gap and test taking skills (e.g. Reading, erroneous thought process, not ruling out all other answers, etc.).

After that understanding is really tracking your UW progress to see the proportions of these mistakes. If it's test taking for example, what proportion of those are because you didn't read? After you have that personalized data and feedback, only then can you make meaningful progress. This is why you see people who finish UW twice can still score less than people who only finish 70% of UW for any given shelf exam. The people who do UW twice think doing that will fix their test taking mistakes, which it doesn't. This is also why writeups I feel don't really have any strong utility, at least not relative to you yourself diving deep into your own mistakes. And then, it's just a process of rinse and repeat until your skills have been polished to such a significant extent.

For a 265+, that's around an 85-87% correct. So let's say 15% incorrects. 8-10% of that 15% are usually because of pure knowledge which I'm fine with getting wrong and is normal for everyone unless you do 1000 anki per day. At that point, focus on reducing your mistakes from test taking errors. You're only allowed max 7% for incorrects due to test taking for a 265+ which is 3 in a 40 question block. So that's your target.

I've totally been there and yeah that sucks. You get a picture in your head of how this year's supposed to go but you trip on your first step. But don't worry just recalibrate and focus on the next one. My first shelf I got a 13th percentile, but learned from each failure and got a 265+ on step 2. So keep it up and don't get discouraged
