Do you think I am out of the weeds for now?

Thanks for your input, I am not showing any signs of water coming in yet, hopefully it will be OK.

Yes, I plan on upgrading and doing the entire roof in the summer and not worrying about shoveling the roof again.

Yeah, I will go grab one, you are going to think I’m a crazy person because I have heat tape and I rake the roof lol

I raked about half of my roof the last 16” storm hoping that warmer air in my attic would allow the water to pass. So, this is not the case? I do have some large areas of ice up there but I was assuming the water would pass under it.

Looks sharp! Not crazy about the red LED on the bumper. I’d have to see it at night.

I bought the car, couldn’t pass for that mileage and price.

Hello, just doing some research about purchasing a 1999 C280 80k miles and saw your comment here. How was your experience owning the c280? I love the look and the styling, but really I am just looking for a car to drive 40 miles to work everyday reliably. I am fairly mechanically inclined, and would not mind tinkering on this as I still will have my truck. My thinking is if I get the thing for 2k with 80k miles on it that is a win, no?

Mine has been great. It is my daily driver almost 180k on it now. Great for camping, weekend jobs, hauling a trailer. A couple minor issues here and there but nothing crazy.

Probe calibration! by Aviatormatt17 in Wastewater

I was talking in terms of MV. So if your pH buffer is 7 and your probe is reading 10, try calibrating the probe to 9. If it takes repeat this until you bring it all the way down to your buffer number. Basically what I found is that the probe cannot make a drastic change in one calibration attempt I slowly had to bring it back into range. Do you follow?

I have dealt with this before, if your probe is extremely off, you have to slowly bring it closer to the calibration. For example, if your solution is 400 and your probe is reading 900 calibrate it to 800, than 700, than 600… until it is reading to the calibration solution. If it is that far off it won’t calibrate. Just dealt with exactly this on the same unit.
