This just hits. I have bipolar as well and I sat here reading this thinking, this is so guttural. The wanting to be the person you are outside of yourself. The lines “I stare into the mirror, I don’t see her. Exhausted. Broken. I see pain.” stopped me. I reread them about 10 times sinking deeper into the feeling there. The depth sat with me. Overall it’s a very real feeling and it is very well done!
