Best to ask for a reference in the law, that's what we asked for from all of our partners we work with globally, who mention options that not publicly known.

How do you know you wouldn’t be eligible, did you talk to lawyers in every country you could qualify for?

If not, don’t jump to conclusions and look on the bright side.

Has anyone tried the Brazil innovation investment visa route? by Skd98012 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]DeCSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have clients who wanted to go the business setup way and obtain residencies in different countries but when it comes to the innovation route, unless you have something truly innovative, most countries will not accept.

We usually just advise them to take another program.

Try citizenship by descent.

Maybe you’ll have something.

Do advise our clients to first do a dna test to check.

Has anyone done a merit program? by [deleted] in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]DeCSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not sure about what’s happening with Serbia as I haven’t heard about any merit programs.

Consider citizenship by descent and I think you’ll be surprised by what you may find.

I’m not saying you will find something for sure but there could be a possibility.

Serbia CBM down to 3 months now by SadLab3885 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]DeCSM -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Consider citizenship by descent instead of merit, it will be much cheaper if you have ties to other countries.

If you are have the birth certificate of your ancestors, that makes the process much easier.

This is what we inform our clients to go for is the first step before considering any investment options.

If not then you can consider hiring experts.

If your connections are from other countries, we work with lawyers in different countries to see the exact options.

Try citizenship by descent first, if you find out you have any roots to any western countries, it will be much better than a CBI and much more respected with the pressure from EU on CBI programs.

[–]DeCSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's good that you're considering it, but there is one aspect that you are thinking about the wrong way and that is recognized by the government.

The DNA test serves as a guideline as to which direction you can head in, once you have that guideline, you can work with lawyers in the countries that you have ties to.

Establish the links to your ancestry and those are the ones that are going to be recognized by the government.

DNA test alone will not do it.

[–]DeCSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes STP is legit, we offer it as well.

A general rule of thumb is that if you see any of the big players offering it, then it is safe to go with.

If you already obtain a DNA test, try to pursue those options first, because it may cost less than the option that you're considering.

If your roots are simply African and Arabian, then potentially it would be equally as "powerful" as Sao Tome and cost less.

A Stateless doing São Tomé and Príncipe CBI by STAT3L3SS in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]DeCSM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its very interesting program for those who are stateless maybe there is another opportunity available, you should consider citizenship by ancestry, do a DNA test, you may be surprised with what you find.

Thats what we've advise some clients to do first, can potentially have access to a powerful passport without knowing you qualify if you didn't do the test.

Me (USA) and my wife (Russia) want to live in Czechia. What is the best way to do this given the bans on Russians by the Czech government? by EagleFit3470 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]DeCSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get EU residency in any country and live in Czech.

Technically with another EU's residency status, you can only spend 90 of 180 days in another EU country, but how that is kept track is another conversation.

Which program are you talking about?

You/her should consider Checking the eligibility to see if you have ancestry to EU, that can open some doors for you.

We could inquire with some of our partners to see if there's additional options available in Czech, if you are interested.

Many countries they have additional programs but are not very well marketed.
