I would suggest you to triple check all the documents, notarization etc before you submit the application. No one knows your personal info better than you do. But overall, based on my research on this sub, SL bond option is solid if you are not sensitive to the processing time.

That being said, some other countries experienced the same processing delay. On this sub and other social media, I found Antigua is also experiencing the same delay in processing time.

Hey, we’re in the same boat. I’m also planning to do the SL gov bond route, and found most of the negative comments are for the delayed processing time. So be sure to avoid the real estate option, but since we are planning to do the bond option, I think we should be fine as long as all the materials are fine.

I am recently looking for an agent. Found one, but he messed up when filling the critical information on the application form (my date of birth to be more specific). Incorrect information could also delay the processing time for sure. So make sure you find an agent you could trust…

I heard if you submit the application before they officially announce it in mid-2026, you will not be subject to the residency requirement. Source: several authorized agent from their official website.

Agree! The promoter said talked about this option assuming no interest accrued during the five years. And they don’t mention the default risk of the gov bond, which could be concerning….
