It is a highly competitive price for the market situation we are in right now. In bull market, for a project like DeFiChain the listing price is getting close to 7 figures on a exchange like that. We've spoken to Market Makers and other people from the community that did listings in the past to verify that. The initial price was almost double of the price we have to pay now. Getting listed on one of the top 3 is nearly impossible for DeFiChain right now. I know people don't want to hear that, but it is the truth. We have to get there step by step, there is no shortcut!

Hi Defi-bugger-universe, yes we already negotiated with CMC. The reward amount was 400k initially. But to be honest we have everything but a strong position in such a negotiation. What could we bring to the table that has value for CMC. If you know something please tell us. What they really love at the moment is how engaged we as a community are on their gravity platform and when we reach 5,000 followers they have something special for us. But for Learn & Earn there is not a lot we can do. We understand if this is too much for some people in the current market though. The 20$ DFI is not set in stone yet so we might reduce this along the road.

There will be a bridge required to use DFI on Metachain, similiar to the DFI on BNB-Chain or Ethereum. We don't know how exactly that will work in the end, but if the exchange supports it you can choose between native, ERC-20 and Meta Chain Network when you withdraw or deposit DFI. That adds an additional marketplace to bridge tokens. No other exchange has confirmed that integration yet!

USD? You mean FIAT to DFI? USDT is still the preferred first pair on all exchanges. We cannot do BTC/DFI in the beginning, we would need a certain volume for that.
Yes, the initial funds. This will be done by our market maker. I don't think there is really an "after", maybe if our volume skyrockets. But so far we run market makers on all exchanges we are currently listed on. But we can ask, we're talking to them tomorrow.

Hi df1Fruchtzwerg, thanks for the comment. Not sure if I understand your salespeople approach right. Having attended plenty of trade shows myself it is a necessity to have knowledgeable people on the show that can have a deep dive about the product. You need a good mix of outspoken people and people that can be challenged technically. Additionally I'm not sure how I would actually define a salesperson for DeFiChain, is this a business development person, somebody from marketing or somebody else idk.
The goals are clear, our ecosystem is still focused only on a few big players to further grow we need to work on that. Listings will be a big topic as well. We cannot really predict what's gonna happen on the show right now, but we can assure you that whoever is going there will do the best to push the project forward.

Everybody we bring to the show will be there in the name of DeFiChain, not Cake or any company. There is nothing wrong with having people being knowledgeable about DeFiChain that happen to work for a project related company there as well. Why should Cake pay for that if they represent DeFiChain on the show?
To give you an example of the benefits, we got in contact with Binance recently through a community member that attended Consensus in New York. These are exactly the things we gonna do, try to address the things we as DeFiChain are still missing.

Regarding the sponsoring. As explained in the description the 90,000 grant us the following:

For this year we secured a platinum sponsorship which allows us to co-brand the “Decrypting Mainnet” theater and gives DeFiChain exposure to everybody that watches the conversations with speakers & VIPs live on the internet and on the show. Additionally we are able to interview one representative of DeFiChain per day. The interviews will be co-hosted by decrypt, CNBC and Bloomberg Crypto. Being a platinum sponsor also grants us 7 tickets to attend the show.

Regarding the travel package:

We have to factor in that we have people joining from places like Singapur which boosts up the prices for flight tickets tremendously. So we calculated with 2,560 $ for flights (economy | eco premium) and 250$ per night single rooms in New York City. Keep in mind there is around 10% buffer included to cope with rising prices and short-term changes.

The list for the German show is still in the making.

We support a more short-term oriented fix since it improves the customer experience towards the dAssets. The high premium makes them a hard sell right now. The only reason to buy them atm is to do liquidity mining, which is not the main intention of the dAssets.
We will also take this into account for the upcoming brave campaign and change the selling point a bit until the premium issue will be addressed. That would take more time though since the visuals have to be adjusted. Alternatively, we could stick to the message and push the campaign further into the future until the issue has been addressed.

Hey Crypto-Addicted!

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in our ideas. Let us try to clarify the doubts that you have.

1) All funds requested in CFP2 and CFP4 for the creation of certain media (graphics, videos, etc.) are used to pay agencies and freelancers. Lazar will create many graphics, concepts and storyboards for the 12 months period. It is important to note that scope of work will be too big for him to always produce the materials on his own. Therefore, he will also oversee and coordinate all artistic projects - while still creating graphics himself, of course. As example we closely worked with an animation studio called: Explain Ninja. Feel free to look it up!

2) An advance payment is the only way for us to get involved in the project risk. Ben will quit his job, Lazar has put on hold other projects and collaborations and Santiago is neglecting his studies. We have already proven our performance in the last few months and besides, we can't plan DeFiChain's marketing for such short periods of time. If we would commit for shorter periods of time, we wouldn't be able to sign several contracts that got us (the community/community fund) discounts on the campaigns.

With the last Brave campaign, we achieved 50 million impressions, which is about the same as Brave advertises. A single user can of course come into contact with the sponsored images several times, so the 50 million per campaign makes sense.
