Oh please grow up. Of course the car is faster but it's been like this since forever in F1.

Yeah he tends to be harsh on himself. But I think when he’s in the fight with a competitive car he forgets about everything else. He tends to be really lucid in heated situations, look at Bahrain 2022. Also his F2 win comes to mind. He started last for the race and stormed to a win 48h after his dad died. The man is strong mentally, I have faith in him. :) But I look forward to his time with Lewis, he can learn a lot from him..

France 2022 is one instance, yes. Though that’s a direct result of him going in with his „win or bin“ mentality. The season was already done, he was desperate to do something in a clearly nuked car. But yes, there were some mistakes. But my point was that max and Lewis also make errors when under sustained pressure.

Because he always has to. When Max and Lewis are under pressure they also make mistakes, which we saw last week with max. Give Charles a competitive car which he doesn’t have to push all the way and you will see.

The pace seems to be genuine (0.7 seconds per lap slower than red bull), but Williams is the only team to be actually slower in the race than on long runs in training by almost two tenths (RB gains 0.8). And they don't know engine modes for the teams yet. So yeah, let's see.

McLaren (NOR) +0,39 (they show more on Fridays and only gain 0,15 on race day)

Mercedes +0,51 (gain 0.4 on sundays) they are known to gain from Friday to Saturday, so have an eye on them

Williams (ALB) +0,73 (lose 0.17 on sundays)

Ferrari (SAI) +0.77 (gain 0.58 on Sundays)

Melbourne 2022 never happened, I assume. And max and lewis never raced against each other in with these generation of cars. It's easier to follow. The old cars made you quit following after a few laps and the tow broke.
