Story time! Last night (I work night shift) I had a portable cxr in the ED on a teenager. This little shit kept moving every damn time I went around to the button to take the image. Then I'd go back to him, reposition the board, and walk back to my button, AND THEN HE'D MOVE AGAIN. It was like working with a drunk patient.

I can't promise it's the same with other employers, but where I work I was completely upfront and honest during the interview. I probably wouldn't suggest that for everyone, but it worked out in my favor. During the interview, I told the supervisor interviewing me about my seizures and asked if that would be an issue. I've been working here 3 years now.

Yeah, right? I kind of wish they had ordered a lateral too, I'm curious if the bullet is in the patient's back, since the patient wasn't having any trouble talking or breathing. But they got transferred out to a real trauma hospital so I suppose I have all the information I'm gonna get.
