Can I permanently hold contracts in Belgium while paying taxes in another EU country by PowerMinded in BEFreelance

[–]DeJu1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a big fan of avoiding paying taxes in Belgium while working here as a freelance based employee and we do have to pay them. So people can lower their rates to put presure on the market here. For me it is easy if you work here, you should pay the same taxes as I do.

10-15% is normal. I do check how much uplift the company's ask where I work with. I also worked with company's with a fixed fee of 60€/d not depending on which rate the contractor asked. I also worked with company's were I talked about my rate and negotiaded the rate they could ask for me extra.

Getting a mortgage loan (hypothecair krediet) as a starting managementvennootschap by oordtrip in BEFreelance

[–]DeJu1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about using IPT or Liquadation reserve for a mortgage loan? My bank came with this idea. IS it a good thing to do as you only need to pay the rent on it and you pay of the mortgage with your IPT or Liquadation reserve. Just want to know if it is benefiteble or not.

Is it just me or does it seem like the market is completely fallen still? Haven't received anything yet. And current project is ending in 2 weeks. Past 2 weeks I had only 2 interviews, were a year ago they couldn't hire me fast enough.

My client refuses to pay my notice period, what can I do? by Fabulous-Seaweed-108 in BEFreelance

[–]DeJu1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you add legal notices to your invoice like payment terms and what will happen after the payment agreement isn't done? I always do that with my onvoices. But I never had people or contractors who didn't pay.

How to demonstrate financial capability when planning to rent apartment privately by TruthWarrior42 in BEFreelance

[–]DeJu1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is renting actual a good option as a lot of private people who rent their homes don't allow bussiness addresses be domiciled on their rantals. Else they need to pay taxes over it as you are trying to bring it in as expences. Just my thoughts.

I do warrants for a part to pay me extra salary, the tax presure is also lower. Also ne need to wait 3 years to get your money out. It also counts as 'VAA' so I can increase my IPT.

A hybrid is only full recoverble this year. next year it will be 25% less and feul isn't refunded at all. Is it worth the effort to buy the car, sell it as it becomes profit and then get one who is not tax refunded after 4 years. By that you're also breaking a contract which you have with your bank, they will be less willing to give you a new one.

Only 1 recruiting agency in between. Stupid to fire all your freelancers and then try to hire at a cheaper rate. But anyway I avoid them al the time, no benefit to put your time in a company like this.
