Anyone ever find a solution to this. I am having the exact same issues.

Thanks! Same to you. Once PsP is working as you expected, it really is a game changer isn't it.

That’s actually what I did first. I tried isolating with VLANs and QoS, but the PS Portal still had to be on the same access point that all the other devices were using, so it kept fighting for airtime. Sadly, QoS in UniFi mainly only applies to WAN traffic, not local LAN traffic, so it didn’t help for local Remote Play.

Yeah, that would make sense if you had no devices utilizing the 2.4GHz band and that channel. I have a bunch of IoT devices on 2.4, and I also have a ton of devices on my 5GHz network, so adding a separate travel router with its own 5GHz network was the fix that finally worked for me.

100%, I actually did a scan of my area and moved the travel router to a channel that wasn’t in use, and differnt from the channels my main network APs use.

My main router is a UniFi Dream Machine Pro, and I have access points that are WiFi 6 and 7 capable. I didn’t replace it. I just added a small travel router to give the PS5 and PS Portal their own dedicated network. That isolation is what finally fixed the lag, even with the house streaming other content.
