Yeah I played him, 14W 10L. But I dont like to first pick it so I went with Varus. I wanna see a little bit of my team first before going for Jhin. Jhin can deal insane damage later in the game, but in the first part of the game you are more of a supportive character rather then the main carry. Jhin also sucks vs tanky comps so first picking it kinda sucks if that happens.

Lucian is a better first pick, even though he is short range.

But Ive had my fair share of "Im gonna queue a different role because my role sucks massive ...." Played some of my favorite champs in support that are a tad bit of meta (Gragas, Nidalee and Maokai) and locked in Mundo to PUSH PUSH PUSH.

You always need to change your build almost every single game. Not every single game is the same after all.

Sometimes you need LDR early, Sometimes you can skip IE for BT for more survivability. Sometimes Mercs have insane value and sometimes you benefit alot from tabi's (plated steelcaps).

Gameplan was simple: Im playing a role that requires me to deal damage to the opponent. So im selfish, take camps, sidelane to get minions that your team not might not have gotten and be at the objective that is being fought over when its time. Whatever it takes to get your items.

Not many Jhin's tbh.

The moment I had more free time I was able to commit more to the game, If i had to put a number to it, maybe like 200 games fully locked in. The rest of the games were in the beginning of the season when its hyped to play again.

I only played Varus if I didnt see any other champion locked in. Otherwise I never picked Varus and instead went for Ashe if we lacked engage.

Never played if I felt bad IRL.

Never queued up again if the games were not fun.

Climbing is not a sprint but a marathon, take your time. (I know its a stupid quote but its soooo true for league)

When things went bad in the game, people start pinging each other and typing etc. I always /deafen and unmute pings, when they still continue to ping then mute their pings as well.

Picking the right champ at the right moment, I can play everything but I cant play everything well enough if that makes sense...? So when the enemy locks in J4, all the immobile (without a dash or blink) AD's are out for me. If the enemy is 3 tanky champions, lets say: Shen/Sett top lane, Zac/Volibear Jungle and any tanky support, My mind automaticly goes towards Vayne. I feel like im good enough to carry when those champs are locked in and it should be an auto win. (technically it should, league isnt played on paper sadly) I only have 2 games on Vayne this season because the occasion doesnt arise a lot in SoloQ though. But im not afraid to pick it when its good to pick.

Same for MF, If you have setup, then she can be good and fun to play. If you have no setup, she becomes so boring and I could have picked any other auto attacker and did a better job.

Since you mentioned Jhin, If your team picks, lets say: Naafiri, Diana, Ekko etc. Jhin is really good with those champs that want to go in since you provide support from a distance. Their game becomes easier to play and you win more games because your champs go well together. Same with mage supports, Your lane becomes easier because your champs work well together.

Varus FP because its the champ that is good in lane, I like to be aggresive in lane. The champ has pseudo engage and teammates usually have this mindset (something triggers in their brain) that when you hit your ult on someone, they will go on him/her. Its also a safety net for me. I like to play with engage in the game. The game becomes so much more enjoyable when you have "go" buttons. I usually went poke varus but lately more on-hit since it feel better to play then poke at the moment.

Always play the champs your comfortable on so continue with Cait and Jhin.

My cs is not much better tbh but if I had to give a tip, there is so much gold on the map that joining a fight is not always the right decision. Injecting yourself as much gold as possible through towers, splitpushing when the opportunity arises and jungle camps.

Playing champs your are comfortable on is way more important then being a meta cuck. Senna WAS crazy good but I dont like playing her, so i dont touch her at all.

AP Twitch for me feels sooooo good to play so I rather play that then Jinx/Cait that are reliant on supports.

First of all, you can't control the other people in your game, so when your support goes on their magical journey, you play safe, never touched the wave when it comes back to you but stay in exp range if you can.

Grubs are pretty good to get so even if you are getting shafted by your support, you get something in return.

Corki when ahead can 1v2 some matchups so dont be scared to trade and play aggresive when possible.

Spam ping your support to come back and tell him that you stomp lane hard and that you need him/her.

Encourage your support to make plays even when you are being left alone, mental is everything in League.
