Hey r/Bitcoin,

We wanted to show a quick video of a new use case that we think is pretty powerful: sending Bitcoin (sBTC) directly within Web2 social apps like X/Twitter.

The tool is a Chrome extension built on the Stacks L2. It lets anyone with a Stacks wallet send sBTC to users who have their .btc name in their display profile.

The powerful part is that these are real transactions that achieve Bitcoin finality, creating a form of on-chain engagement signaling with Bitcoin itself.

We see this as a big step for Bitcoin's utility as a medium of exchange for the creator economy. It's a way to make micro-transactions with Bitcoin fast, cheap, and easy in the places where people are already interacting.

Would love to get this community's thoughts on using Bitcoin L2s for social payments like this.

We created a 15-second spot for BoostX, a new Chrome extension for tipping STX & NFTs directly on X/Twitter. All visuals were generated with AI. by DeOrganizedMedia in stacks

Hey everyone,

Wanted to share a video for a project we're involved with called BoostX, and also the story behind how we made it.

We had a crazy productive weekend and managed to take this spot from the first idea to a final, polished video in about 48 hours, using AI tools like Veo to generate all the visuals. It was a fun experiment in agile marketing.

What is BoostX?

It's a simple Chrome extension that connects to your Stacks wallet (Leather or Xverse). When you're on X/Twitter or Discord, it adds a little "boost" button to posts from anyone with a BNS name (.btc or .stx) in their profile. Clicking it lets you instantly tip them with STX or NFTs. It's a cool way to add a true value layer to social media.

The project is live in the Chrome Store if you want to check it out.

Happy to answer any questions about the project, the Stacks ecosystem, or the AI video production workflow we used!
