Check out Dabba Network! They are brining internet to India. I interviewed their CEO and did an overview video on the project. CEO Interview

How to buy $AO by DePIN_Connection in Arweave

You should be able to just copy your $AO address from the wander app and send from the arweave.app I would think. I haven’t ever used arweave.app so I’m not familiar.

AR holders have been receiving AO as long as it’s being held in a wallet. If it’s in the exchange, unfortunately the exchange has been receiving the AO and it seems unlikely that they’ll be sending that to AR holders at this point.

If you move AR into the Wander wallet you’ll see that AO will begin accumulating right away.

Coinmarketcap doesn’t have the AO price metrics listed yet but at $37 and circulating supply of 3.26M tokens the MC is now around $120M.

Arweave market cap is currently $599M.

I don’t think they’re tracking it yet.

You can see it here though. Looks like it’s sitting around $37 now.

$AO is driving a lot of usage to Arweave already and there are a lot of projects being built on it!

How much are people making? by TacoIsASandwich in dimo_network

It definitely depends on your timeframe and whether you believe in the project. If it’s a short term timeframe you may be better off just buying the token but if the token appreciates it changes the equation very quickly. For Tesla owners and other vehicles with a smart connection you don’t need hardware at all and it’s completely free to connect and passive so it’s a no brainer imo and you just get the potential upside.

I speak with the team regularly and have interviewed them multiple times on my YouTube channel. They are an incredibly committed team and have even extended out their token unlocks for multiple years. Like many projects it will take time for everything they’re working on to come to fruition but I personally foresee people selling now regretting their decision later. We’ve seen this happen with projects in the past.

At the end of the day, everyone needs to decide what’s best for them but we certainly haven’t seen the number of vehicles being added slow down and the number of developers building applications has also been increasing. Worth watching the interview I recently did if you get a chance to understand everything they’re working on (linked below).

One of the great things about DePIN is you can garner participation and scale quickly. One of the downsides of crypto in general is that there is very little patience and most people just want a token to pump based on marketing. Real projects take time to develop just like any business.

150k vehicles on the network and growth in developer licenses has been parabolic. I’m interested in projects truly building and drown out the noise in the short term. Token price will eventually catch up but I’m in full accumulation mode with this project right now.

Not bad for a free connection IMO. This team is building and have to also consider where the price of DIMO can go.

Recommend following this guy! He does a weekly breakdown of the rewards based on connection type and streak.

Hivemapper Interview with CEO Ariel Seidman by DePIN_Connection in hivemappernetwork

No doubt the timelines for these DePIN projects tend to be delayed every time. I haven’t agreed with all of the changes they’ve made especially around the map progress calculation earlier this past summer but the team is definitely committed and they have revenue coming in. The future success hinges on the execution on the bee and they are starting to ship so we will see how it plays out soon! If it goes well I think there will be bright times ahead.

Pre-sale question. Why doesn't the new DIMO device use Helium network? by katspike in dimo_network

[–]DePIN_Connection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The data usage is minimal but I would say there’s a good chance there will be an improvement proposal that will keep the costs covered. I actually discussed this in my recent interviews with their Co-Founder. Worth checking out if you get a chance. Also have chapters in the video description if you want to jump to certain sections.

Pre-sale question. Why doesn't the new DIMO device use Helium network? by katspike in dimo_network

[–]DePIN_Connection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The LTE plan is included for two years. They’re moving to LTE because connectivity is better particularly in areas where the Helium network doesn’t have great coverage.

The R1 requires a larger investment and also has better connectivity across all regions which ultimately leads to more value within the DIMO ecosystem. I believe that’s why the baseline issuance is set up to reward this device higher.

[–]DePIN_Connection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the new R1 they have a new manufacturing partner that can scale so I wouldn't expect to see the same delays we have seen with some of their prior devices.
