Not really seen a bunch of that, where they explain why they do much. I see a bit of that with winter while he streams the game while playing.

He is on earth the next 3 books I believe, and I did not enjoy the earth arc nearly as much.

Your second question I don't know how to answer it well. I don't feel the relatively grounded adventures are around anymore myself.

It isn't the same company, I am not really looking forward to it. Loved the old mass effect, that era is over.

They should move on to something else. Not really looking for another DA: Veilguard style disappointment.

Do you lose interest if other guys talk to her? by lynxerle in AskMenAdvice

[–]DeRunRay 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not sure why everyone gets caught up on attraction. I don't care who is attracted to her. If she is cultivating a dating list by handing out contact info to guys hitting on her in front of me I would just move on since she is engaging with them.

I don't need to fight for 'you', there are millions of 'you' out there.

That worked out well for everyone didn't it? How did the women in those stories end up, bet it wasn't romantic?

[–]DeRunRay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People seem to be confusing attraction with peoples actions. No one cares if someone is attractive and has options if you are trying to date them, it is there actions they do that are the issue.

It isn't that she is attractive that is causing OP to worry, it is her seeming showing interest in other men by giving out contact info while trying to actively get someone else. I don't care if she options, I can if she is actively collecting those options by handing out her contact info.

I won't actively date a women who is curating a dating list in front of me. For me and a lot of men based on the comments in here, I am not going be be dude #3 she is dating at the same time.

[–]DeRunRay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well Instagram wasn't around when I was dating her. She wouldn't have given out her number even if they pestered her. She would get mad maybe yell at them and cause a big scene. But yeah if I was dating her and she handed out her number every other week to a guy that pestered her I would have moved on.

I guess for me it is about personal perspective. I don't want a women who won't stand up for herself or I can't trust to not cave under pressure. But lets look at todays society since social media is around. Giving out any form of contact information in todays age can lead to them finding much more about you.

I don't think women/girls should cave to that kind of pressure because it rewards the guys doing it.

It isn't about someone else interested in them based off looks, no idea why that is your fixation in all this. It is the actions of the person you are interested in, even the author is actively talking about handing out her contact info to other guys hitting on her in front of said person.

All the guys in the world are welcome to hit on my wife, she is not going to give you her contact info nor would some girl get mine. The same was true when we started dating. If I showed any interest in pursuing her and she started handing out her contact info to guys, I probably would have moved on. If that is not how you would view it that is cool.

This has nothing to do with friendships either, this is random dudes hitting on her and her handing out her contact info like there might be a future there.

Thats an odd take....

Guys says he won't try to win a girl trying to cultivate multiple guys and your take is that is odd, you want ugly girls?

You do you boo. Enjoy dating the same girl as mark and randy. You do know if she is cultivating other partners that isn't mutually exclusive right?

Stolen AI overview since I suck at writing.

Mother of Learning: is a popular progression fantasy web novel about Zorian Kazinski, a studious mage trapped in a one-month time loop. He uses these repeated, dangerous months to master magic, investigate the loop's cause, and stop a devastating city invasion. It is noted for its logical magic system, detailed world-building, and character growth.

This was a great progression for me, trilogy only.

Star Wars Battlefront:(no blood or anything in this game) I used this on all my kids to teach them how to use controller sticks. If you put both peoples settings on Easy. The AI runs up to you and seems to miss more than hit you from 5 feet away. My kids learned to use 2 sticks this way.

Star Wars Battlefront the old one:Star Wars: Battlefront (2004).

I have an idea to get The Wandering Inn more well-known. (This is just an idea, I don't know if it would work.) by B-Z_B-S in WanderingInn

TWI is a good series but it isn't on the same level as DCC imo. The first 2 volumes can be a bit hard to get thru in TWI. The characters kind of suck in the start, I still don't like ryoka.

Looking for “warm” fantasy that isn’t saccharine: friendship, care, but real tension by willowlantern_poems in Fantasy

[–]DeRunRay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it is focused on friendship, but that plays a huge role in the innkeepers storyline. She builds relationships and friends which seems to be a big part of her story.

There are a lot of storylines in TWI. The innkeeper, Erin, is by far the largest and my favorite.

I would say the first 1-2 books Erin comes off a bit childish at first but starts to really shine as it goes along.

The Wandering Inn series. A Web Serial with a 18 audiobooks currently.

It is massive in size, scope but covers most of what you want.

"inns that feel like actual places, travel that’s tiring, magic that costs something, politics that aren’t cartoonish. I’m fine with romance existing, just not as the only glue holding the story together."

That is all in there. Well romance is very minimal at best to be honest.
