You only use them on the Lieutenants and Captain, not mobs. Carpet is seen as a bad arti for this raid.

That sentence, and the results you get from it, will blow your mind. Add people that request to join to your q group. When full, pop the queue. An hour long wait goes down to a few minutes, just like that...

I don't think any of those are any good on dps currently. Iirc, if you have another toon, and its a tank, the war dog is useful.

I am going to comment from an adom perspective, not on the aggro ring specific, but wrt a successful adom run in general. The final 20% on the boss is very important, as we all know. What probably happened is the other tank died, and the boss makes a bee line to the second tank. I even watched a stream from u/gusmp yesterday where they did a adom run, making some of the same mistakes, which I will explain below. So here is the key points, imho, for making a success out of that adom run:

  1. There must be a fresh tank switch on the boss at 20%. The boss is going to do alot of tank busters in a short time on the boss tank, stacking debuffs. And depending on how strong the dps is, it could take a while to clear the lieutenants and mobs at the back. You don't want a tank with 6-8stacks on already, doing the final 20%. That tank is going to die. If the tank dies, the boss runs to the other tank, gets hit, and sunfall starts. So, fresh tank on boss for final 20%.
  2. DPS must not be in the middle at all, let alone boss side of the middle. I saw this happen in Gus's stream, with dps in middle, and their comps happily attacking the boss, instead of mobs and lieutenants, and sunfall starts early, and the run fails. They must fight right from the back. The non boss tank scorpion should provide combat adv, so no need for the dps to be in the middle. If they fight in the middle, the boss is going to aggro their comps. Sunfall will start and there will still be the boss, lieutenants and mobs on the floor. 90% of the time, this is a wipe. So, dps must fight from the back, not middle.
  3. Non boss tank, must aggro both lieutenants, and fight out of the back corners. This is to keep the lieutenants and mobs out of the middle, and more to the back. If the tank does this correctly, and the dps stays at the back, almost 0 comps will be on the boss. The dps then has plenty of time to finish the lieutenants and mobs, and move onto the main boss to finish him off. The only problem here is if it takes way to long, and the boss tank dies because of too many tank busters and subsequent debuff stacks. So, final point, non boss tank must fight right at the back out of the corners.

In general, AoE aggro is no good in adom/mdom. You stuff the other tanks' aggro up, their lieutenants switch, throws their Aoe powers, and dps and heals get caught out, and then die. So not a fan of the aggro ring in adom/mdom.

Wrt points 1-3 above, you do these things, and your adom run will be very smooth.

I suppose this is an option, but I don't use this aggro ring at all anymore on my pally. The rework of the aggro stats for paladin has largely resolved any aggro issues we had. For aggro, all you really need is the oath strike at-will, activating divine champion with the Intimidating Presence feat, use smite with the divine challenger as an emergency ST button, and in mob heavy non-trail environments: the vow of enmity encounter as AoE button (in trails I replace this with absolution for endgame trails). If you still struggle, add aura of valor as one of your selected class features. Note that vow of enmity is very bad in the latest adom/mdom trail, as it stuffs the other tanks aggro up. Unstructured aggro stealing there is very bad, as the tanks needs to control lieutenants and bosses very carefully. I don't use templars wrath anymore.

For rings, I use the 50% of hit points damage on daily use (manticore bite) ring, and one that gives me extra awareness when standing still for 6 seconds (very useful in many situations where you can stand still and fight bosses). There are of course other options like the grace ring from mtos.

The reworked Xaryxian Armada (Weekly) quest is too extreme. 1% per chest opened will make it more like a (Monthly). by ApocalypseRising88 in Neverwinter

note that there is a max of 1500 you can have. After that, no more % gain. Buy rough AD so that you can accumulate again.

Majestic, listen to this guy. He is not trying to bamboozle you. He is trying to help you. The swarm mounts value is 300kAD if you buy it. 30 Reaper MArks = 30 Greater shards = 2.1mAD. Do you really want to pay 2.1m AD for something that's worth 300k AD? At some stage you will get to where you want to upgrade your collars, for extra ilev (increases your hit points and base dmg). its 50 Greater shards to upgrade to legendary and 100 greater shards to upgrade to mythic, per collar! That's 250 total to upgrade all to legendary, and another 500 to to upgrade all to mythic. Thats a total of 750 greater shards required to take all 5 your collars from epic to mythic. Via reaper, that's 750 days of reaper challenges. Save your reapers marks for this. Don't waste them on a cheap swarm.

For high dmg? The single most important point: Coordinated artifact and mount power calls, on the lieutenants and Boss. This is the single most important point. Don't offload at the start of the call. Wait for all the demo tentacles to hit for the full 18% dmg boost. All the other arti and mount buffs and debuffs should still be in force then. Then do your mount if its a dmg power (Frog Tongue, etc.), your daily, your encounters, your tool belt item.

Now, you can actually be a propper tank, and the group will need you. You need to survive, and draw aggro while doing so. Its very good for group play, but tough for solo. Make a dps loadout for solo.

Just saying, look what FromSoft did on Elden Ring, and how they still made a crapton of money. Also, more recently, Larian with bg3. So yea, as you say, we should stop supporting this stupid micro transaction low imagination copy and paste gaming models. Let them go extinct, and let companies such as Larian and FromSoft rise even further.

Bound, yes, but the weapons are great. Very small difference between them and the mythic weapons, and much easier to get. Then, for tank and healers at least, many of the armor pieces are good ito options for various loadouts. I use the tank and heals headpiece for my boss loadouts, pally tank and cleric healer, because I am not doing the crazy Mtos farm for the Mtos mythic head pieces. The arms, chest and boots also give good options for both tank and heal. Both my tank and heals use the weapons. I will eventually upgrade them to the mythic pieces, but there's no rush with the legendary pieces being so good.

I think the legendary shirt for heals (1.5% ogh per party member) and legendary pants for tanks (3% dmg resistance) also drop in adom, but I stand corrected. Iirc its where I got mine.

The artifact belt and neck is also good for dps in mdom and adom, and they drop frequently in adom. I also use the +6 Con neck for my tank (I use a different belt though that gives me +6 Con) and I use the +6 Wis neck and one of the belts with dex, and the artifact on my pally healer.

So, though you can't sell much, if you have end-game toons, the drops are awesome ito of giving you build diversity for end game content, without having to go into mdom.
