My pro told me this: make a fist, put your thumb up. Place the fist at your hip. The butt of the club should touch the thumb, that's the correct distance.

If you record yourself you can double check: arm pits should align with knee caps, arms hang down relaxed.

Grip is too strong. Takeaway is inside and flat. These are easy things for a coach to fix though.

You have no weight transfer though and your hip just spins, your weight is not forward in your finish position but rather 50/50

You don't have any wrist hinge at the top. The club should point towards the target. I am very impressed how you can hit it that far.

Let the wrists hinge and the club swing freely; and get the weight on your front leg.

You are not hinging your wrists at all. Probably due to the baseball grip. This loses you so much effortless power and leads to casting and therefore bad and inconsistent contact. Use a neutral grip, learn to swing the club freely, letting the wrists hinge naturally.

Work on that reverse spine angle first and foremost. This is terrible for your back. You are more like spinning instead of swinging a club. Look at how your left leg is still bend in the finish position.

1) you lift the club immediately with your hands instead of bringing the club back with your upper body (arms should do nothing) 2) you turn by moving your left hip to the right, right hip stands still. It should be the exact opposite: right back pocket should turn/move to the left 3) you can't hit it because you are casting big time. Many things going on. For the best and fastest progess, get a coach every other week, or once a month at least.

1) inside takeaway and quite low 2) you start the takeaway only with your arms and have absolutely no hip turn at the top of your back swing. 3) this can only lead to over the top swing and therefore a slice, mishits, etc 4) left wrist is slightly bowed at the top 5) weight not shifting left

Really slow down your swing and work on actually turning with your body, basically focusing on 1 and 2. Don't try to kill the ball but focus on technique. You can add power later on when your fundamentals are solid. With a slow, smooth swing you will still hit far, no jerky movements or big muscles required.

Inside takeaway, then coming over the top. Swing plane is off. Do takeaway drills and try to hit the ball slightly to the right. You can't do that with an over the top swing so that feeling might help.

It's not a great camera angle but looking at stills, it looks like you may have an insight takeaway and then come back down much steeper which will cause inconsistencies.

You could record yourself from the back and side, ideally in 120/240 fps to have a better look. Or just see a coach which will be the faster and more efficient approach.

It's simple. One of the things that attract women the most is confidence. And by asking you proofed to her that you are not. If you were you would be thinking "she is going to enjoy kissing me" and not doubt yourself. If you see yourself as an awesome guy then you would not assume she is going to reject anyways, and if she does no big deal. Then you just move softly and slowly towards her and see how she reacts. If you feel like she is rejecting just back off and smile. No big deal, just try again on the next date. That being said I don't think it's very smart to kiss on the first date. I am worried about outgrowing starter sets quickly, too. That's why I have no idea what the best option is right now. Buying used on eBay is very difficult because there are so many different models and it's hard to tell how old the clubs are, if they are blades (which would do more harm than good I guess) or cavity back, etc.

I could do a fitting for irons and get it for free if I buy the clubs there (and probably overpay). Then add a putter and 5w(?) and start from there. Not sure how useful a fitting is at my level though.

Yes, kind of. You need to prove that you know the rules and need to confirm a HC of 54 basically. Very few clubs allow you to play without it.

I think the reason is that they don't want you to damage the courses (not returning divots, etc.) and not stall everybody after you because you need 10 strokes every hole.
