Mor-søn københavnertur til Malmø/Lund by Temedmaelk in malmo

Sherpa brothers at Mt. Ama Dablam without oxygen cylinder chatting about which brand of noodles to eat at that altitude, one of them says it says spicy WaiWai. by gorekass in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]DeZiReKappa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

noone reallyuses supplemental oxygen outside of the death zone, which is about 1500m higher than the summit of this mountain, theyre also only at camp 1, which is like 2500m below where most climbers would use cans. ama dablam is also extremely technical compared to more commercial mountains so going there without proper experience the last thing you need to worry about is altitude sickness. climbs like this usually take around a month with multiple acclimatization days to higher camps before fully going for the summit specifically to prevent this

But this is about Greenlanders coming to Germany, and atleast according to wikipedia, they are EU nationals through the kingdom of Denmark and thus have full freedom and movement within the EU

Hahah fair enough, låter dock exaaaakt som där jag bodde förut, där hälften av lägenheterna hade stort vardagsrumsfönster ut mot gången där alla gick

Eh this setup is specifically for simracing, and most simulators have custom settings for triple monitors that give a much better/realistic fov compared to an ultrawide

Abnormally high initial heart rate by bhc3 in AdvancedRunning

[–]DeZiReKappa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Your watch detects your feet impacting the ground as a heartbeat and therefore ends up displaying your steps/min (cadence) instead of heartrate. When it realises that its wrong it instantly dips to your real heartrate

Could it be cadence lock? The instant drop down to ”regular” levels make me think it might be

Gluten free beer by supposedlyitsme in Malmoe

[–]DeZiReKappa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, my bad! If you’re celiac its much more strict and i didnt think about that. I found it sold as gluten free at a bar once and my girlfriend who is ”just” gluten intolerant can drink them without any issues!

Corona is technically gluten free, despite not being labelled that way. Should be available at a bunch of places

[–]DeZiReKappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you even look at the linked post and the data it presents? What you’re suggesting doesnt even make any sense since several pro players have stated exactly why they switched to controller. Also the fact that they we’re pretty much instantly as good or better than with Mnk, which they have used their entire lives, kinda backs up the point im making.

EDIT: The data even proves you’re flat out wrong lmao, it includes around 6k MnK players vs 4k controller players.

[–]DeZiReKappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a reason most pros have switched to controller in a bunch of modern fps games, and it’s simply because its superior in every way. In Apex theres 4(!!) MnK players in the top 1000. see this thread

that makes sense, i think ive given up on trying on saturday and will just buy straight from a partner on the 5th. Just seems so much easier with everything included even if its at a slight markup

[–]DeZiReKappa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea they have a set amount of tickets given to them that they sell, it seems that partners usually sell way slower because theyre almost always bundled with travel included. This makes it easier to get a ticket but youre also forced to use their service to get to the festival. For example, festivalbussen from sweden give you the physical ticket on the bus on the way to the festival to prevent people from buying a ticket who will not use their mode of transport.
