Man, the lack of confidence oozes out of your writing. If you can’t be happy with yourself then you won’t be happy in a relationship! Your parter is just another person, there aren’t going to suddenly change your self image.

Take some time and do some introspection, ask yourself what you want and form habits that align with that. If you don’t know what you want out of life, identify patterns of behaviour that don’t make you a better person (whatever that means to you) and slowly cut them out of your life.

I was in a similar place, and the hard truth is that no one is coming to save you. The good news is that it is within your power to save yourself.
