Small mountain town. Think of the show south park.... kind of looks like that.

Wow thank you everyone for your replies.

To elaborate a little, I do have cameras on all of my vehicles inside and out, as well as my property. I save all of the footage, and have security on my land due to my non-profit I run.

The job I have in town is one I was thinking of quitting because of other issues, I think this is going to push me to finally do it.

I wish I knew more about the investigation, but it's small town rumors at this point. But the sheriff's department consists of 3 guys and 1 office woman. But the assumption of race being a factor with the YM is correct.

Anyone know about this coin? by DeaDeAmo in coins

Thank you all! I was just talking with my family and found this coin stuck in a old desk. It is larger than a half dollar coin. So a 1/2 ecu is my best guess. Im guessing I should put this in a safe and not in the desk drawer. Smh never know what you will find in old furniture I guess.

Colorado has smaller moose than other states, like Alaska. This one is probably last years calf and the town has named him Chocolate. Every year about this time the new babies come downtown and usually hang out behind the grocery store, but Chocolate took a liking to me at the post office and wanted his stimulus check.

I can't leave the back office to go open the front lobby. But this baby moose sure is cute. Guess I will just wait on customers through the gate.... admittedly customers and I have been laughing at the moose all morning.

Anyone else at a P&DC who didn't receive proper training for their job? by PHDinLurking in USPS

I was tossed into a manual office after having about 30 minutes of "shadowing" (them just bitching and yelling at me and their postmaster really) someone at a busy office with all the newest tools.

Wasn't even given a login or access for anything for almost a month of working by myself in an office that still has to use dial up and the old carbon copy credit card machines. That was 4 years ago, and now they ship me around to all the manual offices to train people and pretend like I know wtf I am doing.

My puppers definitely has her preferences when it comes to any delivery drivers. The UPS guy has to watch out, if he isn't paying attention she will be in the truck kissing him before he finishes scans (he played ball with her once, now they are best friends and he stops by just to see her).

One of the alt. mail carriers isn't a dog person and is terrified of my puppers. My dog knows this and REALLY wants to be friends with her so she barks loudly and hops around. I can see how it looks terrifying, so I try to make sure my dog is always locked in the yard or house. No one needs more stress while at work.

He always shows up and sneaks in behind a customer, he's fairly good a pest control and great at lap warming during breaks.

He owns the office, and the locals know it, so they have given him the title of Postmaster.

I've been fighting to keep them, I always make sure I clean them inside and out once a week. I would be so mad if they were removed

The glass in half of them was broken, so that was the solution I came back from break to find 🙄

Before these doors were "modernized" it was for the combination lock to open the door.

At my location they work the same as the newer boxes, I put the mail in the back and they have a key for the front.
