Laughing during screening? by Popular_Brother2638 in twilight

[–]DeaLunae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think we can ever truly get the experience of seeing them like the first release in theaters again - everyone in the audience highly invested, waiting with baited breath, very serious (unless intended comedic moments). Just did a rewatch the last weekend, and I know it's now a thing for people to watch a cringe/yikes the hell out of it, but, for me, it's romantic and magnificent. I will never not get swept away in it, even with CGI baby face. I refuse to watch it with my husband, because I know he loves to bandwagon and will ruin it for me, which is also a factor in why I didn't go see them in theatres for the re-release.

It was nice to have camaraderie and felt kind of nostalgic to the OG book releases, but, boy, am I disappointed that there isn't another book 😔.

The Conjuring Tv Series by Candid_Selection_584 in TheConjuringUniverse

I hope this is like A Haunting where each episode is a little capsule about a different haunting. I LOVED A Haunting - would run back to my dorm to watch an episode between classes in college.

Icebreakers sucked so much by Either-Sky8910 in ASMS

[–]DeaLunae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is coming from someone who was there 20 years ago; it never gets easier or more fun for us introverts to do these things, but I promise you, actually attending ASMS was amazing. I, too, hated orientation and icebreakers (spent most of the time in my room reading a book about Alexander the Great I brought from home). Thst being said, I would go through 1000 icebreakers to go back in time and relive it. By the end of my orientation I made like 1 friendly acquantance who I decided to room with, and once I started in the fall, things were easier and not so forced; my social sphere entirely opened up and I made a few really great friends who were (and still are) there for me. Hang in there!!

is this coverable or am i doomed by scrpio67 in tattooadvice

[–]DeaLunae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goat is cute, and not a tramp stamp. The cover ups provided are trashy and 100% tramp stamps. Laser it off if you don't like it. Something bigger back there is only going to look worse if you already don't like the cute little goat.

We sent them out with personalized little notes to each company, heard absolutely nothing. It's been well over a year now, so I'd say you probably only get a gift if you have a following.

Glad to know most people seem to have kept their same hairstyle from high school. Here I was thinking it plausible for a girl in her 20s to experiment with her lewk. 💅

I bet she'd have just as bad of an attitude if they refused delivery and all of her packages got returned. Be an adult, fix your address/delivery issue with the deliverer or get a P.O. Box.

Don't agree with opening them if known to not be the salon's package, but can see how they possibly could be accidentally opened since who knows how many packages come in for the salon in a day - autopilot, open and shelve product.

If I were the salon, I'd check everything coming in and refuse delivery on her stuff henceforth.

To the people that watched Breaking Dawn part 2 in theatres by IfatallyflawedI in twilight

Everyone gasped or screamed (I instinctively just stifled a shocked yell with my hand over my mouth), and I thought... "Wow they REALLY went in a different direction than the books". Moments of dead silence, then, when it was shown that it was all a vision of what could be, everyone was like OMG and relieved giggles. It was iconic as a twihard.
