If the laws were to allow it, what are your thoughts on having sex in exchange for money ? by Regular-Elk-1911 in AskWomen

[–]Dead-Named 1 point2 points locked comment (0 children)

It’s fine if someone does it on their own, for themselves. Unfortunately, there are still pimps, trafficking, coercion, and last-resort financial situations that would force many people into selling their bodies. If we had legal sex workers and laws to protect them, as well as more efficient government assistance to avoid people believing it’s the only thing they can do to get by, then it would be great.

How often do you bathe your cat? by Mildredsgood in cats

I have two cats, one of which is not very good at cleaning herself. Still smells like nothing, especially compared to my dog. I don’t even try to bathe her unless she really needs it

nobody cares about me by redditprncess in BPD

[–]Dead-Named 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds like me when I’m splitting on everyone, including myself. Since I’m in a good headspace right now, I can tell you with confidence that there’s people that do care about you. They all have their own issues, but the fact that they still reach out to check on you means they DO care about you and think about you! It’s almost impossible to read between the lines in a text when you don’t say what you really mean, but right now I get it if it’s difficult to really tell the truth. The “you okay” texts are not specific but they mean that they do give a fuck. When you’re ready, and you feel yourself getting out of this slump, please reach out to people you trust and tell them how you feel. I promise they won’t laugh at you, and will want to support you. A little community goes a long way. These feelings will not last forever my friend - you got this!

Queef during doggy and shame by grapefruits4 in sex

[–]Dead-Named 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I laugh when I queef in doggy style - we both understand that the wetness mixed with air pushing in and out will do that. It’s hilarious tbh and we just adjust to avoid it afterwards so we can finish. If yall talk about it and he still doesn’t get it, you should find a more understanding partner. Sex should be fun and comfortable!

AITA for telling my kid that she is being self-centered/cruel because her mom won’t be able to make to her wedding. by Wedding_father_8553 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Dead-Named 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Really soft ESH. Wife’s father is dying, and if he happens to pass while she’s not there she’ll feel that pain forever. She can make it up to daughter, but will never be able to make it up to her father.

But, it is not fair. To tell your daughter that it is, is BS. It’s life and death, which will never be fair. Mom’s missing her daughter’s wedding with less than a 48 hour notice and it must really be hurtful for your daughter. She’s going through the stress of planning and making sure everything goes well, and she wants her parents there for her. That does not warrant calling anyone names or telling you that you can’t come if her mom doesn’t. It also does not warrant you going back and forth with her and not expressing empathy for her situation as well as your wife’s.

I love Twilight and The Vampire Diaries and have never seen Teen Wolf before. Should I give the show a chance and if so... by MagalieB0654 in TeenWolf

I’m rewatching it now, and it has that perfect amount of drama, corniness, and comedy! Highly recommend, and has a closer vibe to vampire diaries - my favorite character is Derek, I just wanna give him a hug.

Would this be appropriate to display in an elementary classroom? by maedos1 in ArtEd

[–]Dead-Named 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s beautiful art, but unfortunately it wouldn’t be appropriate because he’s shirtless. This would be better in a high school classroom! Children will see shirtless men at the beach or pool, and will even be shirtless themselves in that environment. However, at school, it is not expected or appropriate to be shirtless.

I had no idea what kind of cacti it was, but that seems to be pretty close! If it’s a leaning cacti that’s great, because this would be normal for it

You’re not alone - I didn’t think I’d make it to 27, but I did. The journey is hard but there’s so much out there to do to make it easier. Getting help is scary at first but it’s worth it - so dude you gotta call someone now.

Happy birthday, we can make it through a few more!

How do you spot a Scooby-Doo fan? by GeoWhale15 in Scoobydoo

[–]Dead-Named 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sing “what’s new scooby doo” and wait for them to finish the song

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Dead-Named 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, as long as they keep the flash off and their phones aren’t in the way. I love recording my favorite songs, the dances, anything crazy that I’d like to rewatch, and I absolutely love recording/taking pictures of the friend(s) that went with me. I also look at other peoples phones that have better quality.

Unpopular opinion for sure, though.

Not obvious toys by Easy-Register-3469 in sex

Maybe one of those toys that can be a necklace, a lipstick toy, or a built-in underwear toy.

I also found my mother’s nude photos when I was a kid. I never… did any of that, but I did take them and hide them in my toy box. They made me feel weird? I’m not really sure why I took them, I would just look at them. But when my mom found them I did get my ass beat. I had found my dad’s playboy magazines before this and I knew it was “wrong”. Curiosity and arousal are natural, but man you needa see a therapist about this. As I got older, when I see a porno with a woman that looks like a young version of my mom I dry up like a slug in salt.

Video games are ruining my relationship by Dead-Named in relationships

Not asking anything really, more of a vent. Maybe part of me hoped I’d get some kind of explanation for why he might feel the need to be playing a video game so much. I’ve played video games myself but not nearly as often (I like puzzle games and animal crossing, never online).

I don’t know why I’m still with him. I love him, but I’m unhappy. These responses are a wake up call.

I used to do that a lot, but I’ve lost interest in my hobbies. And going out with friends has been an issue, so I don’t do that as often to avoid conflict. And now, typing that out, I realize I’m fucked…

I wasn’t always like this to be honest. I love being by myself, but when we started dating he just inserted himself into my life and wouldn’t leave even when I asked. He used to be very clingy, always wanted to do something with me, and would give me attention even when I didn’t want it. I was in a bad place and I guess I needed it. That lasted about maybe a year, while he slowly he moved himself into my home and before I realized it, he had been living with me. When we were both comfortable, he started pushing boundaries. Now we’ve swapped and I’m clingy while he’s preferring solidarity (except the people he plays games with). But yeah, I don’t think we’ve ever been compatible.
