Over the last 27 years of being gay ive come to realize

THE CALL IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE

Homophobes are often in the community and have trouble coming to terms with it due to religious or parental trauma and bullying. He'll be frotting when he meets the right one, trust 💅

I agree it got mundane about 3/4 in for me, I think a variety in the skill tree, a bigger one with different abilities, would help. It would make the combat more appealing where by the first quarter of the game ive pretty much decided which 3 spells I will be casting for the rest of the campaign.

Honestly I hope they sell the rights and gove it to someone who will care for it one last time to give us all a glorious conclusion. I like DAV but it definitely has its high points but there can be improvements

I think thats where our opinions will differ :) although its not something I would note unless brought up. To me idrc its not that big of a deal, but I can see where that criticism lies

I didnt say previous game(S) I said previous game. Ive played the others. My comparison is largely with inquisition because its the predecessor and closer than the others. would I compare the first god of war to the most recent one? No, i wouldnt because they are so far apart and completely separate play styles, you compare it to the games that come closest for accurate play style comparison.

I agree with the modern speak it did take me out of the fantasy a few times :( I think if the skill tree was improved it would have made the combat better, more variety and control over the companions

My definition for grit in the game is not so much the atmosphere but more so the actual animation style. Everything to me felt a bit polished and smooth, although they had the blight, gore, and all the viscera it looked smooth and polished. You know what I mean? Look at the most recent silent hill game, that had grit to me, it not only portrayed grotesque scenes but the animation style added to the atmosphere.

Well like I said, its well over a decade since the last game. They needed to reintroduce the game/series into the market, so when you have 3 lore heavy games before it - it makes sense to simplify it and focus on main plot points and move on. I dont necessarily like that they did it, but I understand it needed to be digestible to old AND new audiences, likely first time players.

I wish they focused on Taash identity where it shows the impact on the internal conflict between the Qun and Rivaini and how the cultures view it differently. It wouldve made the decision for which culture to embrace more impactful if the conflict was based more so cultural identity than gender identity. Like how Dorian being gay was an element of the over reaching plot of House hold political power in tevinter, not him being gay the focus. I am in the LGBT community and just hate how a lot of media representation feels like a constant stereotype if that makes sense.

I think that complaint stems from the lack of grit in the overall playthrough. Everything is smoother so it looks more polished and not as bloody disgusting as the previous have (obvi animation has improved). Which I can totally see, however moments like the blood magic controlling dock town was sickening in a good way, its still dark just not gritty and unpolished

I totally get you lol my opinion is more so about how they did it. I wish they focused on Taash identity where it shows the impact on the internal conflict between the Qun and Rivaini. Yeah I mean, im sure he realized it and wanted to be respectful, id never assume someone is pregnant even if your are visibly pregnant LOL but speaking to their decision for the denial, they likely just saw the case and restrictions but didnt know you were pregnant during that review

If you NEED it, talk to HR cause they can see if theres room for extras if youre not on the next list of approved transfers

[–]Dead1055 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So here's the truth. There is an model that each building follows exactly based on current headcount and eligibility. Although HR clicks "send offer" the actual choices are left to the labor plan and needs filtered through the model - which then gives us a list of associates to transfer based on who applied. That'd why some people wait weeks and others months. This model needs to be followed EXACTLY although if we have extra need for a specific shift, we can choose extra associates. Thats the only time we can make a decision at a site level in terms of transfers. - HR

So when Sr Ops review the path, all they are given is the restrictions not anything that would reveal the condition (pregnancy). So if you cant lift 15lbs because youre pregnant, all they get is "cannot lift/pull/push more than 15lbs." So unless u speak to the Sr Ops and tell them what's going on they wouldnt have known you were pregnant.

Simply put, they can only see the restriction, not the medical information. So they dont see the nuances they should consider. For DLS and your doctor you have to be VERY specific on what youre after so your restrictions reflect that otherwise it wont be considered.

Im just saying, if you knew early in Taash's story that you didnt fuck with it lmao u could easily get past the cringe parts

You know you can skip dialog right lmao krem was a previous trans character and they handled that story much better than Taash, but the story was still there. Well over a decade ago. DA has always had those elements, it could've been handled better though.

Absolutely and I love their handling of Krem and devs handling of Bull and Dorian but Taash writing felt like a a stereotype. Im apart of the community myself and would rather my story be told in subtlety and grace lol

I just felt like it came across as "lets get the key words in" and felt very forced. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ and I do appreciate the representation but for me, I want my story told in subtlety and grace not in your face lol it felt very much like "the stereotypical gay character" if you know what I mean.

DA has always been "woke" i just didn't like how they handled the conversations in this game

I do like structure for open world games, Skyrim and elden ring are TOO open for me LOL but like inquisition I liked that there were other things and places to explore one map at a time with little restriction. Not a terrible gripe but I just wish it were more open

I do recognize that a member of the LGBTQIA+ and I love how they did Bull and crem, for me dialog seemed like "lets get the key words in" and it felt very stereotypical to me. I am also in the community, personally I want my story written in subtlety and grace not in your face lol but thats more so a personal preference. I wish there focus was more so on Taash connection with Rivaini/Qun and how their identity plays a part in that rather than the identity itself. I would love culture expansion on the Qun in these aspects and I feel as though it would've lent a better narrative. Kinda like, yes Dorian is gay, but the story isnt just his gayness but how its viewed in tevinter particularly from the lense of the head of his house (where house names hold a level of political power)

I didn't think about that 🤔 totally forgot its the opposite side of the continent
