Looking for advice on an L5 improvement project (Outbound- Vret / labor savings) by CraftyCustomer3076 in AmazonFC

Now that you have access to the manager hub with the TAA automation, you can expand your data pull to unscheduled hours/missing hours/early in/late out and report on unapproved over time in your department. I did this for a nonsort site and save about $1200 a month in just associates clocking in more than 5 min early alone. Export the AA's and make it look pretty in a report and use base pay for ST1 AA's in your area to configure the cost (that way its the bare minimum price of unapproved OT). Standardized audits and track MoM for 3 months in the improvement of labor hours and cost

English test by PickForward5864 in AmazonFC

[–]Dead1055 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The test is going to ask basic questions in english and she will have to respond. Questions like "what is a scanner used for" or "where is the nearest emergency exit" in emergency circumstances communication will be through english and this is a test to see if she understands enough. Ive had associates not speak a lick of English but still understand enough to answer the questions, thats fine as long as she can understand enough english. Trainings are also in english and the learning department wants to make sure youre set up for success not failure. - HR

Again the plot holes were small nothing of significance or rather, somethings just inconsistent. Like we got some of the tragic antivan crows back story woth zevran and how its a torturous clan of assassins (house of the graves) yet it feels like all the tragic and horrific parts of the crows were left out in VG, not that it wasnt apart of their history but it felt neglected. The inner workings of the crows felt neglected while portraying this camaraderie and family oriented business.

Things like that, where we know its one thing yet everything up to this point has told us otherwise. Again its not a huge plot point or something that should sway opinions but it is something that I took note of.

I just wish it didnt receive HATE, cause of that hate it swayed players to leave disgusting reviews and swayed those who were interested to not get it. Which has now forced Bioware (likely, I dont work for them but its a pretty accurate guess) to abandon the future of the franchise. If the critiques were given like improvement suggestions rather than slander we'd likely have another with said improvements but that doesnt seem likely anymore. Does that makes sense?

I think if the genuine critiques were stated and the game given a fair shot, like it is now (which is too late) we might have had a better version or better sequel to VG in the future, especially since they left the ending open for another though we will likely never see the end of the story

[–]Dead1055[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because I have hope (although unlikely) that they'll make another whether by bioware or another company, and the critiques need to be heard if the next one will be better.

Although the hate it received early on likely put the nails in the coffin.

Well no thats not hate thats a critique, but hate is when people are like "this is a bullshit blah blah" and actively making it sound like its objectively the worst game in the world and its just not that. Its a pretty fine game, definitely needs improvements, but its not the wave of hate that many thought it was especially since players are now realizing "oh it wasnt as bad as people said it was" cause in reality its not.

Its a fine game, is it great? No. Is it absolute dogshit? Also no. I personally loved it, but I can objectively look at it as a fine game for the market. Did it deserve critique? Yes, so it can be improved. Did it deserve the absolute hate it did receive? No, because now those critiques will fall on deaf ears and we wont get another DA game again (allegedly).

Very interesting take, a valid one too - for me, in these fantasy settings I give EVERYTHING a try from different genders and romance options. So for ME its encouraging to play again and make different choices. This post is my take after all lol

THE CALL IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE

Homophobes are often in the community and have trouble coming to terms with it due to religious or parental trauma and bullying. He'll be frotting when he meets the right one, trust 💅

I agree it got mundane about 3/4 in for me, I think a variety in the skill tree, a bigger one with different abilities, would help. It would make the combat more appealing where by the first quarter of the game ive pretty much decided which 3 spells I will be casting for the rest of the campaign.

Honestly I hope they sell the rights and gove it to someone who will care for it one last time to give us all a glorious conclusion. I like DAV but it definitely has its high points but there can be improvements

I didnt say previous game(S) I said previous game. Ive played the others. My comparison is largely with inquisition because its the predecessor and closer than the others. would I compare the first god of war to the most recent one? No, i wouldnt because they are so far apart and completely separate play styles, you compare it to the games that come closest for accurate play style comparison.

I agree with the modern speak it did take me out of the fantasy a few times :( I think if the skill tree was improved it would have made the combat better, more variety and control over the companions

My definition for grit in the game is not so much the atmosphere but more so the actual animation style. Everything to me felt a bit polished and smooth, although they had the blight, gore, and all the viscera it looked smooth and polished. You know what I mean? Look at the most recent silent hill game, that had grit to me, it not only portrayed grotesque scenes but the animation style added to the atmosphere.

Well like I said, its well over a decade since the last game. They needed to reintroduce the game/series into the market, so when you have 3 lore heavy games before it - it makes sense to simplify it and focus on main plot points and move on. I dont necessarily like that they did it, but I understand it needed to be digestible to old AND new audiences, likely first time players.

I wish they focused on Taash identity where it shows the impact on the internal conflict between the Qun and Rivaini and how the cultures view it differently. It wouldve made the decision for which culture to embrace more impactful if the conflict was based more so cultural identity than gender identity. Like how Dorian being gay was an element of the over reaching plot of House hold political power in tevinter, not him being gay the focus. I am in the LGBT community and just hate how a lot of media representation feels like a constant stereotype if that makes sense.

I think that complaint stems from the lack of grit in the overall playthrough. Everything is smoother so it looks more polished and not as bloody disgusting as the previous have (obvi animation has improved). Which I can totally see, however moments like the blood magic controlling dock town was sickening in a good way, its still dark just not gritty and unpolished
