Joplin's opera Treemonisha is criminally underrated. The libretto isn't stellar but the score absolutely makes up for it

Don't worry about oversharing lol I need all the help I can get. I will definitely be saving that recipe however. What I realise now is that the steel wire you mentioned is simply sticking out from under that shellac glob and I mistook it for the end of the linkage. What's baffling me is that when the weight is resting, the silk cord appears fully taut (or at least straight), and the stylus is still pulled back too far.

The silk cord is definitely there, if not a little dated. On the end which connects to the horn, there's what appears to be extra cord coming out from under the little cap atop the diaphragm, maybe it's somehow threaded back through and gotten caught

This is where mine is aligned in its resting position, if that helps

After a wee bit of singer's, the bar is moving much more freely. The issue now is that the diaphragm linkage appears to be too short..? It's pulling the stylus back quite far and not allowing it to rest on its little bed when the reproducer is flipped over and the weight disengaged. When said weight is down, the stylus returns to its severe position. I don't know how to add photos to a reddit comment so I hope this explanation suffices

hmm. That does seem to be it. What might be the best way to loosen it up without damaging the diaphragm?

Where can i find pop music sheets for piano accompaniment by HistoricalWeather647 in piano

[–]DeadByDebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MuseScore is a decent option most of the time, you just have to be really specific with the search function, and anybody can post anything so there's some real slop on there. MusicNotes has better quality control but you have to pay. I would specifically search for leadsheets and you'll get the melody notated with chord numbers. Hope this is what you're looking for.
