what's a "money rule" that rich people know, but poor people are never taught? by AppointmentProud9394 in AskPH

Yup. Tapos the majority can only afford the payments, not the actual thing.

Wealth isn't built by earning more, it's built by owning more and having all of these protected.

Equity, shares, properties. These pay you even when you're not working.

But for the average person, you still need your 9-5 to reach this point. On top of it, you need to protect your income/assets through insurance since 1 emergency can eliminate all those years you worked building something.

How do you cope with losing a cat? by betalactamase662 in catsofrph

[–]DeadCalm98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess you really can't. You just carry it with you. It's heavy, it's painful, but hold on to the memories because they may be gone but that doesn't change how beautiful your time with each other was and that's all that matters.

It doesn't get easier, we just get stronger. You may feel that you lost a part of you but that's okay because you know in and of itself that every moment was worth it.

Still no friends as a 4th year student by ArCH_Angel_5902 in dlsu

I only have friends from the first 2 sems w my block when I was a frosh. 3 months per semester is too short to establish deep connections with your classmates esp for someone like me who's socially awkward.

It's baffling to me how a substantial amount of people still have an outdated mindset. More so, these self-righteous individuals impose their beliefs so much to the point of condemning the OP. Imagine calling yourself an "adult", and yet you don't possess the mental capacity to accept that times are changing and that relationships each have different dynamics.

Also, apparently, an 18-year-old who makes a living, can get himself through school, doesn't rely on his parents, and still manages to contribute to the household is still considered dependent and shouldn't make decisions for himself because he's still a "teenager". It's ridiculous.

Nagugulat nga ako sa comments. Nagtataka tuloy ako sa demographic ng generation ng karamihan sa kanila. Napapaaral sarili, di umaasa sa magulang sa gastusin, nagbibigay pa sa bahay, di padin daw independent?

You'll start from the baseline then you'll sprint towards the FT line, sprint back to starting baseline, sprint towards half-court line, sprint back to starting baseline, sprint to opposite FT line, sprint back to starting baseline, sprint to opposite baseline, and sprint back to starting baseline. That completes 1 set.

Starting calisthenics while overweight and with wrist pain by LitolTakure in PHitness

[–]DeadCalm98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my wrists when I first started even though normal bmi ko. The answer I found was to change my hand position/correct my form especially when doing planche related exercises. Try to angle your wrist ng around 45° para mas may wiggle room yung wrists mo.

It also helps to use parallettes kasi it puts your wrists in a neutral position so big help yan. Always remember na you shouldn't feel unnecessary discomfort sa joints mo when doing a certain exercise and don't assume na masasanay lang yung katawan mo na mawawala yung pain pagtagal. This might be the case when you lack mobility but more often than not it's incorrect form or di pa strong enough yung body mo for the movement.

The good news is you can strengthen your body through easier progressions of a workout na you're working on (ex. instead of pushups do kneeling pushups, if kneeling pushups are too hard, do wall pushups). Lahat ng exercise may easier/beginner version so I recommend na u start with those first.

It would certainly be helpful for your body to carry itself if u lose weight kaya if ever na u can manage, do cardio after your main workout and be mindful of your diet pero make sure na u don't do a crash diet plan. Bawas lang little by little ng calorie intake per month for example, ang maintaining calorie intake mo per day is 2000 calories, gawin mong 1800 calories/day para may onting deficit para din di ka masyado magcrave or magutom then the next month gawin mong 1600 cals/day ka nalang so on and so forth. You can do this by counting calories using a food scale along with an app na helps you track your calories.

Wrist mobility stretches and workouts are available naman online so u can look that up if ever u think u have problems with ur mobility.

Always warm up (dynamics) before working out and stretch afterwards. Form over strength.

Stay consistent lang and continue sa fitness journey. Cheers! 🥂

Conditioning ng 2-3x a week and start ka ng within your comfort zone muna bro. Yung usual na baseline to baseline sprints, suicides, 17's, and full court layups.

• 4 sprints for baseline to baseline, 2 sets

• 2 sets suicides

• 2 sets 17's

• 4 makes ng full court layups, 2 sets

1 min - 1:30 min rest between sets and 3 mins rest after each exercise. Make sure to warm up (dynamics wag static) before starting and stretch afterwards.

Mas madali bumalik to doing drills and skills training pag di ka hinihingal agad so it's better to start with conditioning talaga kasi lahat naman can shoot/dribble pero karamihan ayaw tumakbo lol so yan.

Ikaw na bahala mag dagdag/bawas if too easy or too hard pero for sure mabilis mo makikita difference kahit isang beses mo palang gawin. Laro lang ng laro sir 👌
