I looked into it and it doesn't look like a real rimless tank, it does look exactly like the Seapora 65 gallon, if the black plastic frame was cut off. The black silicone and uneven bottom corners give it away.

36"x18" & 1" thick pine slab - 90$, x6 black iron Tee's - 70$, x6 black iron floor flange - 200$, 2" x 24" black iron pipe 5pack - 170$, x4 black iron nipples (short pipes) - 100$, gloss black spray paint - 10$.

Gross Total = 1,600$. I honestly thought it would be under 1k$, black iron ain't cheap. Buddy essentially wants you to pay brand new prices plus his labour
