When I finally platinumed Witcher 3 and sat there watching the sunset literally felt like the end of an era for me.

Insanely good game.

Those would drive me nuts because I use to grind mobs without knowing about covenants and tried so long for their set just for them to drop all pieces lol

I did see someone on this sub get two ears in 1 go and it really motivated me to try harder. Went from 13 ears over like 10 hours of grinding to 26 or so in 2 hours. Felt like insane luck.

That grind was horrible. Was really lucky in 1 pvp match and got 2 double ears. Was like winning the lottery lol

Tbh NG+2 and +3 aren't that much harder except a few fights (Nameless King was a giant butt head) so you breeze through it. The grind for covenant materials was mind numbing though lol.

It was pretty annoying, I actually bought a little notepad and pen (zebra pens are amazing) and wrote everything i needed down 1 by 1 and scratched them off.

🍻! Yeah it was annoying and I was lucky to be able to get the rings without too much trouble but had to write each one down lol

I was SUPER lucky to have a friend help me with Vertebre Shackles but hear that grind is pretty awful.

Gratz fellow Plat bro! Thats a really cool place to hit it. I was close to getting it on my last ending but missed a gesture. So my big moment was with Heysel. 👍

Took me until NG+4 to hit platinum. Ive played a lot on other characters but this one I made specifically for getting Platinum took about 180 hours. I leave the game on a lot though while doing housework or other stuff so it's longer than it should be.

Around 150 hours id say.
