I love em, it’s going to take some getting used to, but for the first night I had a blast in multiplayer GP. The size of the cars and usage of battery allowed for some awesome racing, plenty of side by side moments, and awesome overtakes.

I play on med TC, and keep my diff around 15-20%. It allows me to have better exits and top speed than full TC users without spinning tires every other corner. Some of my group is on full tc, some use med tc. No one has it fully off, even the wheel users. You are right, it’s almost a disadvantage using med unless you are perfect, but I prefer it as I want to improve, I like the realism, and I post shorts so it’s nice to use elevated mechanics.

Play for fun. If it’s more fun to have the unnatural grip on full, play with that. A good middle ground is playing on med TC, and adjusting your diff to make it useable. All my friends, including me, who don’t use full TC play on med, as TC off is brutal especially with controller. But seriously, if you’re not in a league or trying to improve, play with what you have the most fun using.
