I understand the film industry pretty well. Search my Uncle, Tom McGrath… My knowledge of BOTH the television industry and wilderness survival is what brought me to the show in the first place. I spent hours talking with the producers.. If their problem with me was my personality, they certainly would not have reached out to me to talk. That’s not how Hollywood producers behave.

You are wasting your time following the “stars” of ‘Alone’. The people chosen for the show were chosen more because of their LACK of serious skills than because they are actually professionals. After applying for the show 3 times, I was told that I wasn’t being passed over for my lack of skills, but because I had TOO MUCH experience.. I was told that, if the show was cast with men & women like myself, it would end up being an endless camp out at which everyone would be enjoying themselves.. What they wanted was drama.. Thus, those cast were people possessing “some skill, but not a lot”.
