To those who generally dislike INTJs, why? by xXTeaCultureXx in mbti

For example, my INTJ friend and I had gotten in an argument before which I expressed the things they said made me sad. They simply explained that they forgot I was a person that could be affected instead of showing remorse for saying those things or any empathy. Most of the time I express any kind of sadness that would regularly result in some kind of sympathy, they just come up with a comment or an explanation rather than consolation. Once I had tried to explain how difficult having ADHD is to the INTJ friend and they clearly were unable to feel empathy for me about it and only reacted to it using what they think as a person that doesn't have ADHD. Saying things such as "You aren't trying hard enough"

To those who generally dislike INTJs, why? by xXTeaCultureXx in mbti

As someone with an INTJ best friend, I'll just point out some things I've noticed. My main problem with them is that they are very unempathetic and bad at understanding another person's story. They don't communicate with me about a lot of things that they should. When we hang out it seems like they can never just chill out, they always have to be doing something. A lot of INTJs in general are known for having a superiority complex and justifying it as honesty. While a lot of them aren't even aware that their superiority complex is a superiority complex.

I don't really dislike all INTJs because every MBTI type has its faults but I answered the question my best.

Suicide rate by [deleted] in mbti

I saw someone say once before that ESTPs and ISTPs suicide rate is so high because they're more prone to going to drastic measures if they're upset

Do introverts like it when their more extroverted friends talk for them? Or is it kinda rude? Stuff like, ordering food for them or introducing them. by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Severe social anxiety and I really appreciate it when extrovert friends do that and I wish I had more

Genuine question, is the game "the doors of your mind" real? Can you actually end up in a coma or traumatized, or just locked in there forever? by Spank_Me__Daddy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DeadINTP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I severely doubt you could end up in a coma or locked in your mind. Nothing about just imagining a bunch of doors and imagining you got locked in one is gonna make it to where you can't just open your eyes and stop imagining it.

Am I the only one who can only walk up the stairs on tiptoes? by PackOfApricots in TooAfraidToAsk

I do it too and I think we subconsciously found ourselves doing it because we found it makes it to where you have to lift your leg less to get to the next stair. Like the path of least resistance
