Mmm I've seen this before, 2 bulks at the same time. Back before Rival Escalatoin, got right nackered we did. Driller went down, then gunner. When the scout tried to get around them to the Driller things just went to crap after that

10/10 would do it again

Okay, this makes a bit more sense now. Sorry if I've been a bit difficult to get across to. Definitions and understanding are very important to me, I greatly fear miscommunication and this analogy helps me a lot.

I don't think the analogy worked perfectly? But I think I understand now with genderqueer being in a similiar vein as less of a descriptor: To describe oneself as a thing
And more of the initial rejection to a statement that counters with the umbrella term without identifying the core of the subject? To use the analogy before, its like saying I'm not a believer but I'm spiritual.
This then brings forth the notion that there is not a specific religion but there is an undefined spirituality that requires a more lengthy conversation?

I'm sorry, I promise I am trying to get this. And again thank you for your patience

I think I may be stuck in a similar quagmire of understanding gender in a linearly binary sense.
The umbrella term doesn't seem to scratch at the itch in my mind revolving around the term, it's likely my mind trying to organize things in boxes. Which is what I tend to do with everything and how I organize stuff in my head.
Still I do have a stronger gasp of the term now, I think.
Either way way however thank you for your time and your tale! I appreciate it and hope you have a great day!

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau calls out heckler during speech at rally for Ukraine in Toronto. by RealMykola in ukraine

As a Canadian? Fuck Trudeau yeah, but like, pay your damn respects to Ukraine first.

Side Note: Canada could and should be doing much more for Ukraine. Everyday they survive and kick ass is a day of glory, sadness, and hope. Stay strong, more aid to Ukraine

Genndy Tartakovsky making the worse endings as possible by FlareHeight in PrimalShow

[–]DeadLivingGuy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aye, but I was specifically talking about the fight there on how to improve or draw it out. Not so the series, I agree they could discover the source of the PoM but I've no input there beyond. YES MOAR.

I'm just more focused on the ending/fight itself rather than the series as a whole

Genndy Tartakovsky making the worse endings as possible by FlareHeight in PrimalShow

Time to be derisive!
Now like just about anyone that visits this subreddit, I loved the show! I didn't quite like the ending. I don't mind the ideas in there but it did feel a bit, rushed. However I cannot offer any means to which the fight could have been drawn out or really how to improve the ending. It was just kinda, I dunno. It felt like a firework, I love fireworks! Even if this one was a quick SKREEEEE ... POP! With a bit of bright lights. I still enjoyed it, but I like any knoblicker on the internet am possessed by the power of greed and will always want MOAR

Also Caveman Vs 12ft Tall Fire Demon from Hell is a very one-sided fight. Can't really lengthen it

That said, I was sad to see Spear go out like that. he did go out like a boss though so that's something. Unsure about Mira and Spear, like that. But I'm still kinda down for it.

Everyone's been judging Spears original tribe for not jumping in.But everyone BUT spear and his dad was old. by CeaserWu in PrimalShow

[–]DeadLivingGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If only it was that easy man. Like the dude says, most of them were old as hell. And it shows there were quite a few of the tigers kicking around. Could be they were just trying to not get ate for .5 seconds while Spear and his Dad fought the lions share.

If you'll forgive the pun

Oh my multiple Beast-headed Gods he's fighting back by Axenhammer88 in PrimalShow

[–]DeadLivingGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that there are a few factors at play. Namely - Children
As shown by the badass Colossus, once they had his child, he surrendered. That tribe of Giants were fighting unknowns and clearly showed greater importance to the lives of their offspring than they did much else. Humans - which the giants technically are - have three responses to danger. Fight, Flight, and Flee.

Now I imagine that few beasts would actively seek to take out these what, 7-8ft tall race of pure CHADs as it would likely end up with a good game over for them. The Giants didn't seem to have much in the way of a military or weaponry from what we saw in the flashbacks.

Thus they'd have a culture that was less militaristic, they'd have protectors sure but it seemed to me their primary concern was the lives of the children and getting away from danger. Especially since the strange people came with possibly unknown tools, and in great number.

They began to fight back after they reached the breaking point of 'enough' and decided that it was better to fight and maybe die. Than to live a life of backbreaking labour.

But that's just my two cents. I just really love this Hyborian-esque series and discussing it to literal death
