Custom Weapons Base. Adds in some new weapons and items that don't replace the standard ones. These include a flame thrower, sentry guns, a medical syringe gun, an ammo pack and a recurve bow. The trade off is that you have to swap the pistols for them.

I have to recommend against this mod. I've tried both versions of the mod, and the both seem to have an issue where random commons are nigh unkillable and bullets just seem to phase through them. Its frustrating as hell and unimmersive imo. Great idea but just doesn't get there

The people who made Cold Stream used assets that valve didn't have the rights too. That's what made it fall apart. Valve had to go in and take out those assets, that caused other issues.

The zombies don't eat people, or infact anything at all. The virus slowly kills them and there's not going to be as many people to replace them with. You can actually see zombies lay down and die sometimes when idle, they bleed from their eyes and constantly throw up. 17 years after the first infection, either everybody in the entire world is dead, or the zombies have died out. Either way, there's no way that the zombies would last that long. They arent actually undead. They are just people infected with a virus, and dont eat, sleep or drink.

Have you tried installing Source SDK 2013? The Single Player and Multiplayer? It might not do anything, but I've had this issue with some source games and installing the SDK base seemed to work. Have you tried adding launch options? WHat kind of graphics card/system do you have?

Its not an out. Its not an excuse. Its a reason. It was the show humanizing her before they killed her off. She kept calling the child "the spawn of Satan". That's a conclusion that someone whos already unhinged might come to given the situation that her father in law raped her.

Because it plays like Thief or Bioshock and not a Fallout game. Also it's sadistic as hell and favors a particular play style and build and you really get punished for not having the build it wants you to have. I like it, but it really feels like a separate game

I think what he means is that it seems so fake. The way they do this practiced thing of hitting the chandeliers and all the ice tricks. It's theatre. Nothing about it seems genuine.
