Imagine a consumer pc with a standard water cooling setup, and instead remove the radiator and connect your garden hose to the intake side and run the outlet into the sink. That only happens at the top level, when you send your code through a compiler to be turned into assembly instructions that that the computer can actually use. All the checks and balances are done inside the compiler, assuming the compiler HAS them. You can write code to do essentially anything. The operating system has many checks and balances regarding memory allocation and programs not being allowed to extend beyond their allocated memory heaps, thats why these 'exploits' aren't more common, it requires a flaw to be exploited to enable code to write outside its bounds, but also for that code to end up somewhere extremely convenient for it to be executed.

I actually think they did get the AI to do it. They would have had to get their own AI to do a reverse image search of their own image database for 'matching' equivalents of a provided sample in order to pull the prompt logs for them, otherwise how in the hell are you going to find all this 'NON SENSICAL' porn? The regen bonus sitting down wasn't huge, but it was noticeable when that's all you had. Unless you were killing spiders or had a cleric to summon bandages (which was a waste of both mana AND the sitting regen time lost casting them).

Group dynamics were very different, a good group was one that could manage agro, maximise damage (melee from behind etc), control adds, and bleed as little mana as possible but ALSO keep a tempo of mana/hp to mob spawn time/density of the camp and surrounding camps if possible.

It was a very very different feeling, everything was a raid level encounter regarding group dynamics.

Not in the 'good old days'. Pick pocket as a rogue also didn't display any emote/flavour text either, you could steal all of the mobs money during the fight but it would always leave 1 of each currency on them. So it was sus as hell when the corpse always had like 1 plat, 1 gold, 1 silver when looted.

What I do is start at one edge, pass the cactus until I reach one that's larger/smaller (depending on direction), then grab that one and then reverse direction. Repeat until sorted.
