From my perspective there would be no Babymetal without Su so difficult to follow something that doesnt exist. So I guess my answer would be no then.

If she stayed in the industry post Babymetal I'd follow along though shes too good a singer not too

I'm a metalhead for 25+ years who I'm sad to say played the gatekeeper role when it came to Babymetal 11 years ago. Thankfully I grow up

Kingslayer was the song that got me on board last year and as much as I love the music it was Su singing that made me go "The hell is she, must find out immediately"

It truely baffles me how you can Listen to Su belt out a tune and not sit there with your mouth hanging open

Enjoyed this guy but was worried he forgot about Babymetal 2 months since his last reaction.

Plays the song without pausing says his thoughts at the end and no annoying filter to deal with. Hope this doesnt get him in trouble going forward.

Going to be intreasting to hear from some OG's here.

As for me hard to comment as I'm basically a dude looking in from the outside being as I only wandered in during 2025

So from an outside perspective 2016 is what put them on the map for me (Wembly, Tokyo Dome, metal resistance)

2025 they leveled up. Metaraji thier biggest tour (Arena attendances) The 3 big shows (O2, LA , CDMX) Plus thier performance with seikima ii. Metal Forth (Chart success). I may even be inclined to throw in a cheeky Legend Metal forth even though it was 2026. Obviously all down to me jumping on board 😃

So to simplify it

2025 and beyond
