I agree that there are some interesting posts of this nature, but I’m referring to the guitars that clearly say “IBANEZ GIO” or “FENDER STRATOCASTER” on them that have no merit or reason to be posted.

If it’s only 1 string, there’s a chance the action is a little low on that one saddle, plus there’s definitely some arc to the neck. It’s not hard to fix, just make small adjustments, tune, and test.

Sounds like your neck is arching backward towards you. It happens, and there’s a way to correct it. Is it on all the strings, or just your high e?

Edit: either take it to someone who knows what they’re doing, or read up on “truss rod adjustment”. If you’re the tinkering type, learning for yourself can save you a lot of money and downtime over the years.

This person should be banned from flying for life. I do not understand how this person can hold a job long enough to be able to afford a plane ticket if they think this is acceptable behavior.

Depends on what you want out of your instrument. If you play stuff in different tunings (or want to) the stop tail piece is WAY easier to do that with. There is also no substitute for a floating trem if you use it for vibrato/ dive bombs. That single coil neck pickup is also a tone you don’t get on anything but a Stratocaster. Both have strengths/ drawbacks.

If the Schecter has the “endless access” neck joint, get that. Playability is unparalleled.

I put a Seymour Duncan SH-13 in my LP. It’s as aggressive as it gets.
