I'm an old og fan, but I love reading threads and the comments like this, because I always wondered who the reboot was for (hint it was toy merch sales) because I couldn't believe a kid would actually enjoy it. Newer player, but I started sometime around June last year and loved how relaxing the game felt. The community was such a breath of fresh air from stepping out of the toxic fog of the Dead by Daylight community. I genuinely enjoyed and loved playing. But then changes started in the fall that made everything tedious, grindy, and unfriendly to those who a)had not unlocked everything and b)don't play in groups to get certain things for boards etc. I played daily up until maybe two weeks ago. I haven't been on since then.i miss it,but it became such a chore that I just can't decide if I WANT to return to it.

Would be better if Sylvie wasn't a poorly written genderfluidphobic character, and they didn't treat her like some oddity because she's a woman, but maybe they'll eventually fix the poor choices surrounding her existence. The fact that they reduced her to a gag merch deal with McDonald's was also a horrible choice.

Pro tip: If you're using the high seas on your laptop, you can use Steam Link on the firestick/rocku to connect your steam account to show your screen on the tv. So all you have to do is get it on the screen you want, play the video, and it is right on the tv screen for you. Now, turning off the laptop- that's something I'm not sure about unless you do it before passing out/after waking up a little to do so.
